I was apprehensive about booking this hotel after reading some of the reviews. However, I encountered no problem with my stay. The desk staff were very efficient, the room was clean and quiet. I was at the front but I only heard the sirens from the fire engines (mentioned in another review) once, during the evening. I slept well each... More

I stupidly read some of these reviews a few days before we left for a 4 night stay at this hotel. I was really upset because I wanted to have a lovely holiday with my teenage daughter and thought I had made a terrible mistake by booking this hotel. The hotel is small, needs some updating and new ideas perhaps,... More

The location was perfect for a concert at the Bell Centre, just a 5 minute walk, and just steps from St. Catherine Street in the opposite direction. The shuttle bus from the airport stops just a block away, and the metro is also a quick walk. I was in the back, so the room was dark as a cave, however, I... More

Stayed just 1 night, thankfully not more as room was extremely small. Location is right in middle of Drummond St. so close to bus stops, metro stations, shops and restaurants however it's also right next door to the fire station. Heard the truck/sirens pull out twice while we were there so wouldn't recommend unless you can sleep like the dead.... More

We chose this hotel as it was the only one of the two downtown Montreal best westerns which would accept gift cards during Grand Prix weekend. The location is excellent. Half a block from St. Catherine with all of the amazing restaurants and shops. Parking is questionable. There are a few outdoor lots right by the hotel, each of which... More

We arrived in Montreal by train from Toronto, and managed to walk to this hotel from the station. It is around half a mile and if you don't have much luggage, it is quite easy. This small hotel is wonderful and the staff are really freindly, perhaps the best people we met in Montreal. The rooms were not too large,... More

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend. Alexandre at the front desk was an evil monster. I had 2 rooms booked, I pre checked the second room in so my friend wouldn't have problems when he arrived at the hotel. The girl Nellie was so nice, friendly and helpful. She really was great. Alexandre on the front desk was... More

You know you are in trouble when the person who checks you at the door has an immediate attitude and avoided even talking to us for 5 minutes when me and my spouse were the only people in the room. We were actually happy to have arrived at the hotel and were immediately greeted by a staff member who was... More

We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to the Bell Centre and was the cheapest in the area. No problems checking in, we had booked through expedia last minute and paid $140. Our room on the 2nd floor was very very small by Quebec/Canada standards. The bathroom was especially small, I am only 5 feet, 2 inches... More

Best Western Europa does not have underground parking, they suggest patrons park across the street in a Parking Lot owned by another management. My van plus another SUV both were vandalized in this parking lot overnight. Smashed in windows. Out of town plates are a huge target says police. Not a great way to end a vacation. Hotel was okay,... I am sincerely sorry to hear about your bad experience in one of the nearby parking areas. In fact the hotel has negotiated rates with two nearby parking facilities. The Autopark Stanley offers our clients a rate of $13 per night and is most certainly indoor. This is I believe the most competitive parking offered by any hotel in downtown... More
