The suite had everything we needed for Passover. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The refrigerator was large and brand new. It was like a mini apartment with a small dinette opposite the kitchen and a sitting area with a convertible sofa with a large screen TV. It was very comfortable. There was also a balcony where we were... More

Price was good for the "suite" - it is nice having a little kitchenette - but I have to agree with some of the other reviews - the sauna did not work, and in general it looks a little bit run down - we visited when it was cold - probably about a 25 min walk to downtown (we cabbed).... More

Very much set up like an apartment which has its advantages and disadvantages. It is close to a metro(Atwater) but quite a walk to downtown or Old town. If central location is important, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, great value. Grocery close by. Crescent at 5-6 blocks away. Staff friendly at check in.

The room has a general lack of maintenance and cleaning. The walls are dirty with finger prints of earlier customers, doors were half painted and the paint in the bathroom was peeling off due to excess humidity. Also general cleanliness is poor. Will not stay there again.

I had a fantastic 2-week stay in the hotel's studio during my business trip last December. The studio that I had was clean and spacious. The unit had a dining area, sitting area and a fully furnished kitchenete. It also had a balcony but it was just too cold to be at the balcony! The hotel's location is perfect for... More

We stayed here for a weekend in February and found it absolutely fine. The hotel is located just across the street from the Forum between St. Catherine and Sherbrooke St in the Atwater neighborhood. The room was very large with a comfortable bed, small sofa and a nice little kitchen and bath. The room was a bit beat-up, but for... More

We thought that this hotel was a risk because the price was on the lower side. Instead we were met with a welcoming host who spoke French and English clearly. Our hotel room was the biggest surprise with a bedroom, a large living room, a dining area and a full service kitchen. While we didn't need all of this, it... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in January and it was fantastic, location is great, breakfast was good and reasonably priced. I stayed in one of the newly renovated suites. The metro is about 2mins walk from the hotel, Also a shopping centre. The suite was cleaned daily not throughly though. The reception also wasn't very clean. In summary, it is... More

As we were spending New Years Eve in Montreal we booked this place several weeks in advance. We booked one of the suites that include 2 double beds as well as a pullout couch. As we were four people, we thought this would be a great room to fit our needs since it could technically sleep six. To our shock... More

came here on many occasions as a visitor, the rooms were good so we decided to rent a suite this time. Little did we know that we would face such inconvenience. We reserved the room through the phone and we mentioned that we would have visitors and NO ONE said that there was no visitors after 10 pm. My sister... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
