I stayed with my family for 4 nights during the Christmas period by reserving two interconnecting rooms. Yes, it is not the same as Ritz Carlton but the location and services was one of the best as I have been to more than 200 Marriott properties globally. For the price and value, I don't think you can beat in downtown... More

The hotel is located on the rue peel walking distance to a metro station. McGill University is 5 min walk. Room is clean and kitchen is well set up. Free breakfast was chaotic since it is free to all guests. There are many great places for breakfast nearby. Parking is offsite and a little tricky.to in and out. Overall, my... More

The hotel is very well located in downtown only one block from St. Catherine St. Everything is new and looks great! It's very clean and all the services are very good. The staff is always ready to help, we have a problem with a wheelchair and the maintenance staff helped us to solve it. Thank you Sir!!!!

Pros: Alexandra the duty manager was nice and helpful as well as the rest of the team. A very smooth check out with Vicky. Not big but a reasonable studio size for the money with two double beds and a sofabed and a good size open kitchen. Room was neat and clean. Clean washroom. A good shower that never short... More

I stayed here for nearly a week, and really appreciated the kitchen area and fridge in the room, which meant I could cook simple meals and not eat out in restaurants (on my own) all the time. The rooms also have a desk, making them good to work in, so I'd definitely recommend them to anyone on a business trip... More

Good bet as a place to stay in Montreal. Location great, 1 block from Metro, 2 blocks form shopping. Pay parking out back, free breakfast and good solid WIFI. Easy walk to other things to do in the city.

What a great property. The rooms are newly renovated and clean and comfortable, even smell new! High-def TV with high-def channel feed although channel selection could be improved. Comfortable bed = comfortable sleep. AC/Heat work perfectly! Shower is outstanding - is a large square with shower doors - However, small crack between doors allows some water leakage but minimal. Nice... More

Visiting Montreal in November and stayed at this hotel due to its convenient location and proximity to my kid's apartment. Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
