My company recently had the pleasure of hosting a media event, on behalf of a client, at Loft Hotel. We really valued the convenience of being able to stay overnight at the hotel, with just a few steps to walk to the event venue in the morning to set up for our event. The hotel staff were extremely courteous and... More

Nice room to cater a wedding. Nice high ceiling and a upper area with a spiral staircase to have the kids play while the adults dance. Friendly staff. A little boxy because it was a former factory or warehouse. Difficult location.

The hotel itself is a work of art, but the staff is mostly unprofessional and unscrupulous. For instance, after I signed the agreement, the self appointed slightly chubby manager said, "After 10 pm, do not bring extra guests to the room for we have families". I was stunned, but I humbly obliged for I signed the contract already. However, to... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Loft Hotel in Montreal. The room was great and very spacious! It was beautifully decorated with a full kitchen. My only complaint was that it was very hot in the room and when we requested that the temperature be turned down we were told it wasn't possible because then the other rooms would be... More

We loved our stay at this friendly, convenient hotel in the St.Denis area of Montreal, Quebec. The room was definitely a 'loft' complete with kitchenette, dining table for 6-8, double leather couch seating area and a large entrance way. The large wardrobe and bathroom separated the entrance from the main living area and we thought it was really a shame... More

The elevator is a key element and not to be missed. Won't spoil the surprise for ya. It's very cool. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Breakfast... More

This is the first hotel that I have seen that has a sitting area complete with comfortable chairs and a table. The hotel is a bit different but I found that to be part of the charm of the place. the Staff is warm, friendly and helpfull. The hotel is doing some renovationsbut they did not bother us.The rooms are... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
