This place definitely lives up to its name. The room was enormous with 5 modest sizes chandeliers, panoramic view, and brand new bathroom. The room was clean, modern and had a small bar fridge. Very minimalist interior design. More space than you know what to do with. Great location in the famous latin quarter and walking distance to the metro.... More

Stayed at this hotel in a Urban Loft in February. The room was exceptional huge, but as other reviews stated the TV is so far from the Bed. One set of lights were not working at all; it stays bright for a few seconds, then just starts flickering as if the place is haunted. The toilet doesn't flush properly; it... More

I spend roughly 1/3 of my year in hotel rooms, and have done so for years. Of the thousands of rooms I've frequented, the one at Loft Hotel was among the most comfortable and best appointed. It was an extraordinary space, more akin to a great apartment than a one night place to crash. The hotel is ideally situated, just... More

I booked the Loft Hotel on the recommendation of a friend. First the good: The room was huge. As big as many Montreal apartments I'd guess. It was an open concept, but the bed area was closed off some by shelving. The couch was leather and very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and full size. The shower was large... More

I was struggling to find a hotel in Montreal since I had no idea about the city, the area or the province. I went through Hotwire and lucked out. The Loft Hotel is tucked away, down a short alley way from the main street and is surrounded by residential apartments. Everything that has been written is true. The room I... More

This hotel was a great place to stay for my birthday celebration. Excellent location in the heart of the city. A spacious loft which was clean with staff who made you feel at home. Felt more like a home than a hotel. The only negative would be the lack of breakfast and the early finish. Room service breakfast would have... More

Amazing stay! Our only regret is we only had one night to stay at this wonderful hotel! Room: huge! Full kitchen, dining room table, sofas, large plasma TV, bedroom = all exceptional! Despite the typical late check-in, the hotel staff arranged for us to occupy the room at 12:30 PM. They also gave us the option of a 1 PM... More

I recently stayed at the Loft Hotel in Montreal for a business trip. I plan on making this my go-to hotel in the city! I loved it!! The lofts are clean and spacious. The location is central with lots of nearby restaurants and amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is easy to find and affordable, bonus is that... More

Booked through Hotwire.com, my boyfriend and I stayed at the Loft Hotel in room 406. It was a beautiful huge room with a comfy king size bed, L shaped black leather couch and flat screen TV. Our room was clean, except for the noticeable shoe prints under the coffee table. Check in was good, the young lady that greated us... More

Started on second (205) floor using the old style elevator, pretty cool only problem air conditioner didn't work first night. Attempted to move next door to 206 but air conditioner wouldn't even start. Counter was more than willing to move us to 5th floor suite were the air worked great. If going to get noise on the weekend this would... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
