We stayed three nights in this motel, and really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast served was more like a small restaurant than a normal motel self-serve area. Although you did have the normal self serve area, eggs, beacon, and eggs were served, and a staff member made your waffles for you. WiFi was better than the normal dial-up speed at... More

I stayed here once before with other members of my family for a wedding. We had 5 rooms booked, and the breakfast policy was very unclear, so some of us got breakfast, some of us didn't. It was all very awkward and embarrassing. I gave my feedback to the hotel, and they took my concerns very seriously and convinced me... More

Upon arrival I was impressed with the outside look of the motel. I had booked a room with two dbl beds but got a room with two queen instead, so far so good. Did not have a bathtub in our room only a shower with the grout blackened near the drain which looked dirty to me even though I'm sure... More

I booked this Hotel for more than 10 nights. In the parking already, I noticed it looks like a Motel. I asked but they say no its a Hotel. I decided to take the minimum number of nights, they said two nights is the minimal. They said I will get one of the best rooms, maybe I will stay the... More

This is the best hotel that we have stayed in during our trip to Canada. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable beds. Tea, coffee and fruit are complimentary at the reception. Plenty of nice white towels every day and coffe making facilities and a fridge are in the rooms. The staff have been very helpful and the... More

The HoJo in St.Leonard (Montreal), Quebec, Canada, is a mixed bag. I've stayed there twice (Dec. 2014, May 2015). The first visit was acceptable, but the second one has made me question if I'll ever go there for a third time. As another reviewer noted, it has a motel feel. A lot of the rooms are only accessible from an... More

After we checked in and paid for 2 nights we went up to our room it looked nothing like photo's. The shower tiles we so nasty. We decided to make the best of it we didn't pay 200.00 a night so we would go with it. But that being said we did pay 98.00 a night plus a 100.00 deposit.... More

Pros: Cheap rate acceptable breakfast but bare minimum. Comfortable bed. Cons: Require advance payment for the stay on check in. It would not be possible to check out early. This is rediculus for a business trip. Spread out rooms. Feels like a motel. In the winter would not be fun. Room feels cheap.

We were very pleased with the room we had, the reasonable price, excellent service, and the free breakfast! Everyone that works there is very pleasant and friendly. We've stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so!

Staying in Saint-Leonard

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Leonard
Another focal point of Montreal's Italian community, Saint-Léonard appeals to families and the young at heart, with caverns to explore, museums to take in, and games to play. This is typified by the borough's Leonardo Da Vinci Centre, where visitors are just as likely to view an opera in its plush auditorium as they are to jump onto the lawn for a round of bocce ball. Burn off pasta calories with a stroll through Galerie Port-Maurice, a swim in the massive indoor pool of Complexe Aquatique, or on the steep ramps at Giuseppe-Garibalidi skate park. Perhaps the most curious and magical feature of the district can be viewed by boat on the waters of the underground lake in Saint-Leonard Cavern. A dazzling natural wonder, the sun dapples through the subterranean setting, lighting the bulbous formations of stalagmites and stalactites, and setting the water ablaze with color. Truly a place for an out-of-the-ordinary adventure.
