La Conciergerie is a charming "old world" guest house that is welcoming and comfortable in a quiet residential area just a couple of blocks from Berri UQAM subway station and the main strip of the gay village on Rue St Catherine (about 10 mins walk). The guest house is a good size with a variety of bedrooms including those with... more

The owners; Michael & Luke and staff at La Conciergerie go above and beyond to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable stay. Always greeting you with a smile, they provide great conversation, detailed directions to area attractions, restaurants, night life and subway destinations, there customer service skill is top notch. Being bed and breakfast owners ourselves we are very... more

We had the suite, 304, which as a previous reviewer stated, has (sort of) two rooms, en suite facilities and a balcony overlooking the street. Luc welcomed us and showed us round the B&B, after telling us where we should park on the street (beware some is residents' only). The rooftop terrace was great, and it was used even in... more

I'm not a big fan of the B&B concept. When I travel, I like the simplicity and comfort of a hotel, and the idea of staying in what's basically a bedroom in someone's house (with the idiosyncrasies that implies) makes me nervous. But Montreal has a huge proliferation of B&Bs, some marketed to gay travelers and some otherwise, that run... more

We had the suite, 304 and well worth the extra dollars as it was large with two rooms and private bath and a small balcony overlooking the street. It was the only room with a TV so that was a nice added bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were great at check in , showing us around the... more

Just returned from a long weekend in Montreal. Stayed at "La Conciergerie", a very nicee B&B property for gay men close to Le Village. My room was small but comfortable and included a private bathroom. There was a queen bed, closet and chair, but no TV or coffeemaker. Daily breakfast was good with fresh croissants, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels,... more

Some friends and I stayed in a very nice room with 2 queen-sized beds. The room was very clean and spacious. We were provided with a filling breakfast each day -- croissants, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, orange juice, cranberry juice, and lots of other foods to choose from. We relaxed in the hot tub in the afternoons. There was... more

I stayed at La Conciergerie with some friends for Sugarbear Weekend in Montreal, it was my first trip to the city since I was quite young. The room we shared was spacious and nicely decorated and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was always available and tasty in the mornings, and the hot tub was one of the amenities I... more

We found this gay B&B on line and we immediately booked as its a quick walk to the bars/rest and steam rooms. I went with a friend we both had really nice rooms. The place was very very clean. The owner and help were sooooo very nice and helpful. Breakfast in the morning downstairs was a way to meet everyone... more

La Conciergerie was my first gay B&B in Montreal and I loved it. I stayed in the suite on the second floor on the front and enjoyed it very much. The room was comfortable with a nice sitting room and private bath. Everything was very well maintained. Breakfast was served each morning in the dining room/kitchen on the ground floor... more
