Auberge Bonaparte is a lovely quaint hotel in the heart of old montreal. Room 501 has a wonderful terrace overlooking the courtyard of the Notre Dame Basilica. We viewed the beautiful new year's fireworks right from our terrace windows! The breakfast which is included, is served in the elegant Bonaparte restaurant, and is plentiful and well prepared. The free internet... More

We arrived to a very friendly front desk. We received a room upgrade were treated with great care. The staff was very helpful and had great recommendations. We had no complaints and would stay here again. It's also in a great part of town.

We researched this hotel for a two night stay in the city. We just showed up and Michael quickly found us a beautiful room with an unbeatable rate. It is walking distance from everything and located in Old Montreal. The service was excellent. The restaurant is cozy and known throughout for its great breakfast. The waiters were so cute.. Especially the... More

We received an upgrade upon checking in -- a lovely, quiet room, very comfortable bed and bathroom. The staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Having such a wonderful restaurant is a real big plus after a long day of sightseeing, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Will not consider staying anywhere else should we return to Montreal.

Travelled to Montreal for a conference but also made it a little get away with my spouse. Rates at the conference hotel were outrageous so began looking for options in the area. Narrowed it down to 3 spots, all rated highly on Trip Advisor, although none were without some detractors. In the end we settled on the Auberge Bonaparte. We stayed... More

I hardly need to say anything as it's all there in previous reviews. The location is perfect for seeing Old Montreal, and the nearby metro station is your gateway to the rest of the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a room away from the street so no noise issues; it had a wooden floor and a... More

This is the ONLY place I stay when I visit Montreal, and that is at least once a year. The hotel is small enough to feel like your at home and clean enough to remind you that you are not! Love Michael Banks, the "mayor" of old Montreal. He has steered us in the right direction around the city and... More

From the moment we walked in we knew this was a very special place. The staff was welcoming, warm and helpful. The Breakfasts were elegantly prepared and delicious! Dinner at the Restaurant was beautifully prepared and the memories of our meal will last for a very long time. Our room overlooked the gardens of the Basilica, was well appointed, extremely... More

the manager, Martin is excellent, his English is flawless. Knows the city and is adept at helping his clients. One of the assistants is Mino and he was wonderful. The room is beautiful, lovely linens, the breakfast is beautifully presented, the restaurant for dinner is excellent as well. The location in the old part of Montreal partakes of a segment... More

We enjoyed our stay as everyone was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The service in the dining room is excellent with breakfast being an absolute joy as we were given so much choice. Although our room was tastily furnished and very comfortable, it was rather noisy due to the passing traffic, so we would have preferred a room... More
