5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

my husband and I just spent two nights here. Our room was small and cozy. The hotel is clean and quiet. The concierge was very helpful finding us restaurants. There is parking just up the road and you can walk everywhere. It is in the old city and close to the metro. We will stay here again. I highly recommend... More

What it doesn't have: a pool, a fitness center, room service. What it does have: huge rooms; excellent location in funky Vieux Port; wonderful value for the money; terrific breakfasts (free); an enjoyable bar off the restaurant; a VERY good kitchen for dinner; proximity to other good restaurants, from cheap (Poutine Montreal) to fancy (Scarlet Exclusive), to in between (Maison... My boyfriend and I decided to spend a weekend in Montreal and settled upon the Auberge Bonaparte in the Old Montreal district. It was BEAUTIFUL. It exceeded both of our expectations. The staff was very helpful and quite courteous. Our room was wonderful, overlooking the Notre Dame Basilica that was about a block away. On our final day, we decided... More

This was our 2nd time at Auberge Bonaparte-and it was still great-pleasant and clean room, wonderful dinner, very nice breakfast, great location in the Old City. Wait staff are excellent and the front desk staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant.

This is at least the third time that we have stayed at the Auberge Bonaparte over a 15 year period, but the first time since it has been under new ownership. We loved the former owner. And while we felt something special was missing, in actuality, everything was just fine this past trip. We just missed Michael B. Our room... More

One is tempted to wonder how the world would have been had Montcalm and Not Wolfe won the battle for Quebec? A French victory would have resulted in ALL of the North Americas being populated with truly wonderful, charming and efficient small Auberge style hotel like this!!! And what a delight that would be. One cannot overstate to warmth and... More

I have travelled a lot in the US and throughout Europe, but I think Auberge Bonaparte is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Not a huge hotel, but so attractive, and with everything one needs. Small enough to get to know the concierges, who were incredibly helpful each day of the five days we spent here. It... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights over Thanksgiving (USA) weekend. The room was nicely furnished and very quiet even though our room faced the street. The breakfast is very good with table service in the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant itself is also excellent for dinner and you're just an elevator ride away. The Montreal Basilica is practically around... More

We stayed there for two nights. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The position is very convenient for walking in the old city, a few steps to famous church and Metro station. Lots of eating just a few min. away by walk. The room is big, even in an old building, comfortable bed, big windows facing the woods. Lots... More
