Spent five nights at the Novotel Montreal Centre while on a business trip. Stayed here in September 2007, room was nice but were warned by receptionist that if we as much as tipped anything in the mini bar we would be charged for it. I stayed there for 6 nights at the end of October 2007 and my overall impression was positive and I would return again. However, it is not the usual Novotel standard… or at least not the Novotel standard I am used to in Europe.
