In April 2009, my friends and I decided to take a trip to Montreal. After much research, we decided to stay at Auberge du Vieux-Port. We had 4 girls in total and it was more than enough room. We stayed in the superier room with 2 Queen size beds. The place was great because we had a kitchen, dining room... more

We stayed at this terrific hotel for three nights during our honeymoon. The hotel staff was excellent--very kind and incredibly helpful. Our room was beautiful, large, and immaculate -- just like the pictures on the website. (The mattress felt brand new.) Each night we went downstairs to the bar for a complimentary glass of wine and cheese. In the morning... more

I had stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago so I decided to stay at their superior loft this time as well. We get to the hotel and the reception area is crawling with bugs. but to top it off, the concierge lies to us about a maintenance problem that occurred that same day so they couldn't contact... more

The staff is outstanding. BostonExPat mentioned the concierge Michael. He did not overstate the caliber of this man. The valets were gracious. I had the feeling that the staff enjoyed working at this hotel. Great location... great views. It made up for rainy cloudy weather. more

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in May '09. We had a river facing room on the 5th floor - the room was exactly as advertised with hardwood floors, exposed brick, and a modern bathroom. The room was large and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the river/Vieux-Port. We live in the city on a busy street,... more

We stayed at this particular hotel April 30/09 to May 2/09. We were very pleased with our choice of hotels. The employees are helpful and prompt and made our stay very comfortable. The hotel has that old feel to it that we loved. Everything is in walking distance, the shops, restaurants and Notre Dame Basilica is a must see. more

We stayed at Auberge du Vieux-Port from 04/17/09 to 04/19/09 and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel fit all my expectations for a boutique hotel, and the price wasn't bad at all. More important though was that the service was VIP from the moment we checked in. The chief concierge, Michael, was one of the most helpful concierges I've... more

I chose the Auberge du Vieux Port based on a friend's recommendation as a surprise getaway for my husband's birthday. It was a perfect choice. We were there 2 nights. The price including dinner and parking was very reasonable. Front desk and parking valet were gracious and accomodating. Wine/cheese offered each evening, along with live jazz on the nights we... more

When my wife and I arrived, the room they had for us was dirty and had not been cleaned by room service yet, so they moved us to a smaller but still a nice room. I figured, this happens, they fixed the problem the best they could. Later that night when we went down stairs for dinner, the manager stopped... more

My huband and I stayed at the Auberge du Vieux-Port in late August for 6 nights for our "mini-moon" and we loved it. We also chose the hotel for the location in Old Montreal and loved the surrouding area. The concierges and valets were a pleasure - we enjoyed seeing and interacting with them during our stay. They always greeted... more
