Stayed in the Holiday Inn and it was very good. Massive suite with all the usual facilities. After being on the road for a few days having such a large room was most welcome. Breakfast was adequate with plastic cutlery which I did not expect in a hotel such as this. It smacked of a greasy spoon café on the... More

Cold shower and poor wi-fi connections plagued me for 2 nights. Was never sure if the staff was useless, clueless or helpless. Better if they would just close the restaurant. Poor food and poor service. Location is the only redeeming factor to this hotel.

Never ever use the basement parking in this hotel. Totally mis-managed with machines that do not have clear instructions about how they work. Worst part of my parking experience was that the parking attendants were EXTREMELY unprofessional and abusive. First, one would take money and write a "receipt" on a piece of scrap paper (I am not sure where the... More

I was traveling with a large group for this visit. We were greeted and checked in promptly by the front desk. The lobby was very nice. The room was outdated and clean, but smaller than other HI hotels I have stayed in before. The free wifi worked most of the time. This property is in downtown Montreal near a lot... More

This was an amazing hotel, I would like to start off with all the bad things just to get out of the way mainly because there wasn't anything bad about it. The washroom was odd the sink is on one side of our room while the washroom (which is quite small) had the toilet and shower it was clean nothing... More

Stayed in this hotel in April. Rooms are really basic for a Holiday Inn. We could not control the temperature in the room it didn't work. The shower was also in need of repair it would go from really hot to cold. There is no other parking other then valet available at this hotel so add an extra $30 a... More

Very convenient location. Very expensive parking that I realized when I made check out as the receptionist on check in didn't mentioned the price. The restaurant is not bad but the staff there are all very good. I cannot say the same for the other staff that seems to me very cold toward the visitors. The cleanness poor. The value... More

First issue. Safe in room not working. They did send a repairman up promptly, only problem was he was completely unable to fix it! Said the batteries weren't dead but didn't know how to get the safe to work so he gave up. He recommended NOT to ask for a safe deposit box at the Front Desk because "everyone has... More

The location is great. Within a walking distance to most of the stuff you'd like to do downtown. facilities are pretty rundown. Parking facility with valet. The lobby area is cozy with a bar & restaurant that are open late.

Stayed at the holiday inn at 420 Sherbrooke street west in March. The service was horrible. Cold staff. The room was ok but very dirty. Can find hair pieces all over the room.
