The Valet parking was very accessible and the Staff were very nice at check-in. We arrived early & were promptly given a first floor room which was recently renovated and was a mixture of modern with the old fieldstone walls. Our room was very nice, spacious, with a nice shower, of course with two people , one liked the softer... More

Beautiful hotel, the bed is so comfortable, I stayed in it far too long. Room are well appointed and outside noise is shut out withe windows closed but I could hear my neighbors walking around their room. Staff is great and helpful with restaurant ideas and directions. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Rooms are very warming and cosy (great for couples). It is situated at the vieux port, sourrounded of lots of nice restaurants. Staff is friendly and breakfast is great. I'll try to stay here next time. Strongly recommended.

With such great reviews, Le Petit Hotel was our choice when staying in Montreal for 6 nights at the end of March/first week of April. We definitely made the right call as our experience was even better than expected. Upon arrival we were greeted by Carlos who was awesome and interesting. He was always so helpful and willing give us... More

My spouse and I spent three nights here over the Easter long weekend to watch the Blue Jays exhibition games against the Reds at Olympic Stadium. The location was excellent being within walking distance to lots of great restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. As mentioned in other reviews, the bed was the most... More

We stayed here for two nights, the room was really quiet and comfortable, great customer service and it's located in the heart of old Montreal amongst some lovely art galleries and restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights as part of their 3rd night free promotion. Outstanding value. At the heart of old Montreal, a rustic, stylish property that is sophisticated and modern. We stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking the narrow street below and I would go as far to say the room was one of the best I have stayed in. It uses... More

Le Petit Hotel is a lovely accommodation which is ideally situated in the heart of vieux Montréal. The rooms are comfortable and the continental breakfast buffet is very nice. What impressed us most, however, was the friendly and courteous service team; the youthful staff were unfailingly professional and catered to our every request with a smile. My wife and I... More

Due to a scheduling conflict I needed to move to Petit Hotel with my 10 year old and found the Hotel staff to be excellent. We were greeted right away outside to help with our luggage and all staff I encountered on our stay were professional and courteous. Great recommendations for lunch and dinner, clean and well appointed room and... More

Le Petit Hotel is amazing. We planned an impromptu family trip and they treated us like gold. The location is beautiful and the hotel itself is stunning. It is within easy walking distance of many sites and the staff happily recommended restaurants and attractions. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
