Maybe my expectation was too high after reading TA, as I usually find the reviews of hotels pretty much fit my taste, but this one was different. First of all, the medium room was about the size of a regular room in France, I pity those who are in a standard le petit room. Secondly, the placement of my bed... More

I made the reservation based on proximity to the location of an appointment, just hoping for a comfortable experience. The hotel was fantastic. Excellent service, beautiful, modern, and well-appointed rooms, with no stone left unturned in terms of providing a great experience. Having a free room upgrade didn't hurt! I only wish my trip had been scheduled for more than... More

Unbeatable location in the heart of Old Montreal; close to restaurants and bars. The hotel itself and rooms are wonderful and the staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. If you are looking for a boutique hotel in Old Montreal, this is it. Thanks!

The location was great, the rooms was clean/ comfortable. The only problem we has was the shower wasn't working properly (water pressure was way too low), but I am sure they would fix it. The front desk was extremely helpful and recommend many nice restaurants. Would definitely consider staying again if I am in town.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Montreal for my first time this past week, and it was perfectly complimented with a stay at Le Petit Hotel. The hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and looked even better in person than it did in pictures. The staff were warm and friendly and recommended amazing restaurants to dine at. They were down to... More

Pros - Great location in the Old City - Good Continental Breakfast Cons -Rooms are not as they appear on site, do not take the Extra Large on the 4th floor as half the room is not usable due to steep roof angle, nothing like images shown on the web site - Roof HVAC noise makes a constant hum -... Dear Peter K, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. While it seems you enjoyed the hotel’s location and the continental breakfast, I am truly sorry that your Extra Large room did not meet your expectations. Our website’s photos aim at showcasing each room’s features along with what we believe to be accurate descriptions of room categories.... More

I booked and extra large room to share with two children, ages 20 and 15. We all were amazed at the room which had floor to ceiling windows, exposed brick and stone. As usual, the staff was helpful, the coffee tasty and the breakfast wonderful. We enjoy the proximity to Rue St Paul and all it has to offer.

Positve points: Location, location and location...excellent to discover the city by foot...great staff, calm, personal, decent internet connection free of charge and generally good value for money. Negative points: Loud minibar and a sort of sagging bed...but nothing else really.

They pay attention at this hotel. The decor is well done, the staff very accommodating, beds are comfortable, and the continental breakfast is delicious - complete with fresh orange juice and a choice of coffees. Located in Old Montreal, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. We will return.

I found this wonderful hotel here on Trip Advisor. Sweet little place. We stayed in the new "wing" (3 more rooms have been added). Super comfortable bed. Great location in old town. European breakfast (café au lait and croissants). We'd stay here again in a heart beat. Try the Le Bourlingueur restaurant on the corner for a good meal.
