Hi, I stay one night at this place with my girlfriend. The bathroom was shared, The owner was very kind but he forgot to told us that we have to hold the shower head during the time the bath was filling of water and the curtains was sticking on me. The bath don't seem very clean like you can see... More

I booked this BandB for two nights on Thanksgiving weekend. I spent 20 minutes on the room booking a new, very expensive hotel last minute, because of filthy windows and a faulty light switch. Decor was ordinary and dater. I was charged for two nights after spending 20 min. there. Apparently, I should have voiced u distaste instead of worrying... More

This location is really close to the Metro and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. We arrived on Thursday to check in and from the outside it looked a bit run down. Once inside we were greeted by Said, Owner of the B & B. He showed us to our room and where the bathroom is located. We... More

Super close to the metro! Lots of wonderful places to eat and shop near by. Management is super nice and breakfast was really yummy! We stayed in the room with the double bed which was great because it was off to the back of the house and right beside the washroom. Very nice balcony patio. Never saw many of the... More

Great location, cute room, and the owner is FANTASTIC! He's very friendly and has EXCELLENT customer service - he seems to really enjoy providing great service. The breakfast provided is served by him with flair and humour and I just loved every minute of it! I would highly recommend staying here!

My husband and our 8 year old son stayed here this past weekend. The good first: -Location. Having never been to Montreal, I couldn't have picked a better location with this b&b. it was central to everything, a stones throw from a metro stop and right in the thick of the action. Very trendy neighbourhood. - The price. We booked... More

Good value. Owner/operator very friendly and eager to please his guests. Breakfast is served and good option of continental items. Rooms are mostly small and be sure to ask if yours has A/C if this is an issue for you. Location is very good and parking extra off site but only $10. per day. Use of full kitchen and small... More

While the host is helpful and gracious, his property is sorely in need of improvements to bring it up to standard. There is no central a/c, so the hot, humid weather made it difficult to fall asleep and noise from the neighborhood made it difficult to stay asleep. There was no chair in my bedroom and there are no common... More

I tried to stay at this B&B but going there later at night was a nightmare. First the location wasn't the original one given on the site I had, then when I got inside from a key left for me, there was no indication of where the rooms were, and I ended up trying to get into the wrong room.... More

We arrived late so our host very kindly left the key and instructions on the door (which suggests it's a safe area, which was nice). Lovely old creaky house, unfortunately wifi didn't work in our room at the back (perhaps we were too far away from it). Room at the back very quiet. Great location, on a street with a... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
