Couldn't even stay in the room more than 20 min. We booked another hotel and left!! Everywhere we looked there was something broken. Toilet, at 2 inch of the wall so impossible to sit, behind a half-curtain. I couldn't believe it. Very dark and scary!

We had such a great experience when we stayed here! It was clean and the staff was very friendly (they even helped us with our luggage!). The hotel has a warm feel to it and it SO CLOSE to everything (15 min walk to Old Montreal and about 25 minutes to downtown). It was helpful that there was a place... More

Great location, clean and quiet. Friendly staff, very VERY affordable Ask what the "bathroom" looks like though. It was tiny in the room I got. Did not mind because I was alone, but better ask before :) I recommend!

To sum up: the hotel has a great location. However, when we arrived the first thing we were asked was: Who are you? In a bad mood. The room we were set in wasn't ready (we arrived an hour later than we were expected) and we had to ask for another one, which wasn't ready either. Besides, they didn't give... More

Excellent location with walking distance to restaurants, shopping and metro. Spacious room was clean and had the classy Marilyn Monroe theme. Friendly front desk staff and were available to answer my questions. They gave great restaurant and attraction recommendations. I would recommend this hotel for travelers on a budget.

Great.Great location and closer to metro berri.Everything was clean and cosy and too was cleaned daily.Room was warm in the winter.Great help from the front desk.People having large luggage will find difficult without lift. But for me everything was great and cheap. And again I say great location because it is in heart of Montreal.

We had booked a room with a shared bathroom, but they gave us one with a private bathroom. The room itself was pretty small, with just a small cabinete for storing clothes. It also had a fridge and a microwave and a tiny TV. The bathroom was divided in toilet, shower and sink, with very little space for the shower.... More

Hi! So bad you didn't get what you expected. It is true that our Hotel is really well situated. Travellers like to stay in our place because of that. For other travellers who make noise, the only solution is to call the desk. Usualy, they can solve your problem. Otherwise, I took note and I'll check if there is something... More

Need some hot air! I haved a good night. Great location in Montreal downtown. Did'nt have any info about the Hotel service. Receptionist was alright but I like to be in contact with woman. I haved no information about the parking service, was alright for the weekend but in the week, parking will be a problem.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighborhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centers, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
