From the moment I stepped through the door of this hotel to the moment I left, I received excellent customer service from all of the reception clerks. The room was well decorated and clean. There was a microwave oven and a small fridge, amenities that I appreciate. There was no hairdryer. The WIFI worked well. The location could not have... More

This hotel was picked for me with a group on a bachelor party weekend. Money seems to be the top motivating factor for the pick. It was insanely cheap with the strong U.S. dollar. You really do get what you pay for. I'd suggest staying at this hotel if you are tight on money, don't need or like a clean... More

Who really helped me in a difficult situation. In general, a very good quality for its price, the location is great, the decoration is lovely. The room was a bit dark, but it's completely fine for short stays

Stayed for 2 nights in July, wasn't able to check in until half hour after check-in. Got the key and walking up the stairs, we were stopped by the cleaning lady who said our room still wasn't ready. Everything was fine afterwards. We stayed in the Audrey suite on the 4th floor, weird layout but if there was a budget... More

Our room 202 was very small and needs remodeling. with that being said we only paid 60.00 dollars for the room at peak season when the Jazz festival was going on. So I was not unhappy for the price. They had other nicer rooms for more money.

We arrived and got a good welcome from the lady on the desk. She helped with printing some tour emails too. We didn't realise there was no lift and had a few problems carrying our cases up the stairs - but that was our fault. When we got into our room, the beds were fine but the room generally wasn't... Hi LouiseR! Thank you for your comment. We are located downtown, between the Old-Port and the show space, “Quartier des spectacles” on one of the great streets of the town and near the famous St-Catherine street. We are sorry about the inconveniences you lived with, however, quality of rooms also depends on the type and range of prices. Hotel Celebrities More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights, it was horrible, the room was not cleaned our entire stay, we had to ask for clean towels every day, when we arrived back at our room around 6pm each night we ask why our room wasn't cleaned and were told they had not gotten to it yet. What hotel cleans their... More

We are really sorry about those inconveniences. It is not an usual situation and we worked hard so it won’t happen again. Besides, we are a small hotel in an old building in a great emplacement with especially affordable rooms. Thank you, Hôtel Celebrities More

The reality does not match the published photos. The old guy on reception very rude. The door locks do not function. They stole my iphone the last day of the room and I did not solve anything. It was a frightening experience!!!!

Hi, Bed bugs are an international problem in the hotel world because of the quantity of people that pass by. However, every time there is a sign of bed bugs, we do everything that has to be done. Cleaning ladies are also really careful about this. Also, the hotel is an old building, some problems mays happens, but we do... More

We went to Montreal to visit family and wanted something special, not just the regular hotel... Wow, we were totally amazed by this little hotel directly in the centre of the city and very close to the Old Montreal at a walking distance. All the rooms are different and super cool. We just had a blast!! It was large enough... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighborhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centers, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
