Excellent service. Location: Downtown. Parking: a tad expensive at $35 per night (valet) but you've got no choice if you have a car. Rooms: comfortable: Shower: Could use more water pressure but otherwise fine. Towels etc: High quality Front desk: superb Breakfast: Buffet style... with lots to choose from. Fresh cut fruit... baked goods, etc. My only comment relates to... More

Randomly decided to stop to stay the night. We were greated by the most professional staff in Montreal. The room was impressive, and the bed's comfort was out of this world. We decided to go take a few drinks at the Gazette and were greeted once again by amazing Staffers; the barmaid drinks were heavenly while our waiter was present,... More

Super comfortable and clean business hotel - very quiet rooms, shower and bed excellent and check in and check out speedy and friendly. Breakfast also tasty and plentiful. Downsides are the characterless lobby area and the incredibly inappropriate short tight dresses the waiting staff at the breakfast bar are made to wear. Inappropriate enough that I would feel uncomfortable about... More

I had booked a Premium Room with 2 Queen Beds and when we arrived late at night after a long flight, we were told they didn't have any 2 Queen Bed rooms left - so we were given a 1 King/sofa bed configuration. I still don't understand how this happens in hotels - if it's reserved, how can it not... More

Dear Maria, please allow me to apologize for the issue with your reservation, which I will investigate to my best. Premium rooms are indeed very popular to our familial clientele as they are amongst Montreal’s largest available rooms. I thank you for having taken a moment to share your feedback, and I hope to get the pleasure of welcoming you... More

This hotel exceeded expectations. The area infront of the hotel is covered so there is no wind, snow or inclement conditions. The room was on the 20th floor and had a great view of old Montreal and 2 blocks from Notre Dame Basilica and three blocks from Garde Manger. The beds were definitely "heavenly." The free Wifi worked well and... More

I am glad you enjoyed your recent visit, Darren. The exchange rate is indeed extremely favorable to US visitors right now; in fact, Canada hasn’t been so affordable since over 10 years. We sure hope to welcome more tourists in 2016 thanks to the great value. Au revoir, Raymond St-Pierre More

I'm a meeting planner, and we held a planning meeting at Le Westin. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfy, and the room service food was excellent. The meeting room was also very nice, and the hotel was very easy to work with when planning my meeting. Everything went off without a hitch!

Concierge desk was amazing. Made phone calls to arrange excursions and restaurant reservations. Rooms offered standard Westin comfort. Loved the views of the city from our room. Great location with easy access to convention center and Old Montreal.

The Westin Montreal is situated in the heart of downtown, an easy walk to restaurants and cultural events. The premier room (like a junior suite) provided a wonderful home base for our 5 days in Montreal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is perfectly situated within walking distance of visiting Vieux Montreal, or to head to St Catherines street to be Centre Eaton. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We even enjoyed eating a breakfast from Le Westin.

Great location on the edge of Old Montreal. But everything is a little "tired". This property needs to be freshened up and the staff needs a little morale boost. Gym offers a small pool and a spa. The workout room also needs an upgrade on the equipment front.

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
