The hotel is situated right in the Old part of Montreal. It is easy walking distance to the subway, points of interest in Old Montreal and the port. We had a wonderful room with a view of the city. We slept very comfortably in a quiet rooom and enjoyed the hotel's facilities. We parked our car directly across the road... More

The hotel is clean and trendy. It is definitely targeted towards the business traveler which I would probably appreciate more if I were here for work attending a conference within its' parameters. However, being here with the family this time; I found the need for concierge services more than usual to take tours, get suggestions, advice on local restaurants, etc.... More

I stayed at Le Westin while attending a conference in Montreal. The conference organisers had booked me into another hotel. On my first night there, I saw a spider in my bathroom I knew I couldn't stay another night there and began checking on-line for a better hotel to move into. I found Le Westin while looking for hotels near... More

Hotel staff was great! Anthony at the Gazette bar was friendly and hospitable! Rooms were clean and spacious! Around the corner from the cathedral of Notre dame. Only a few blocks from old Montreal and the river. Many great restaurants close by as well. Can't wait to visit again soon!

We were impressed with the hotel. It is in a ideal situation close enough to easily walk to the water in Old Port and with the metro and access to the underground city right across the street. Our kids loved the indoor pool. Room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Very impressed especially given the relatively low... More

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago during the annual Montreal Jazz Festival. A perfect location for this event as it was walking distance to Place des Arts, our main venue for our evening concerts and also to the outdoor venues for the daily line up of musical artists during the Fest. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly... More

This hotel is a great option if you are visiting Montreal for business or pleasure. It has a great location and the amenities are fabulous. It borders Old Montreal and is only a short walk to St Catherine's street too. The pool and fitness facilities are better than the average hotel. The rooms are new, clean but not overly big.... There is no secret that this hotel caters to conferences and business travelers but the location is wonderful being a short walk to Vieux Port and Old Montreal. Service, restaurant, rooms, etc are all what you would expect with no complaints. Parking on site is valet parking so be sure to have a few dollars for the valet. The parking... More

We booked Le Westin Montreal with a special rate package. I had to initially change my dates, and then also arrange for a late check-in time. Within five minutes of sending an email to the hotel, I received a response (on two separate occasions). They are quite responsive. We didn't check in until midnight, but the staff were attentive and... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
