This place was priced a bit less than others we were looking at for our three night stay in Montreal and after reading some reviews we had a guess as to why. Where they save money- no breakfast (they do have coffee, tea, and muffins in the morning), no pool, furnishing quality, was where I was happy to sacrifice. Our... More

Hotel is very easy to get to by bus. Check in was easy, front desk is bilingual. Room is quiet looks pretty much like the pictures they post on their site. Very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was awesome, washed all our dishes and replaced amenities daily. The little kitchenette is very useful; there is an IGA grocery store a block... More

We stayed 1 night in this hotel and we loved it. The location is perfect to visit the city. Close to Metro Station and right in front of the Airport Shuttle Bus 747 stop The room was big, the view was great with a big window. Our room was fully equipped with everything to cook a small dinner or breakfast.... More

If you only need a clean good room and like modern hotels, this is yours. We stayed for two nights. We had nice view overthe city (upper levels). It is very good located to start your tour through the city. As I remember there is no opportunity to have breakfast?! But there are so many choices downtown so this didn't... More

This hotel is very modern and swanky. We spent 4 nights in the Hip room, which was comfortable and actually seemed to be a good size for a metropolitan hotel room. There was plenty of storage, the bedding was super comfortable, the bathroom was bright and clean, and we loved having a fridge and some dinnerware at our disposal. The... More

This is a great hotel centrally located between Old Montreal and downtown--a great option for first time visitors to Montreal. It's nice next to Chinatown and while in a neighborhood that was formerly part of the red light district, it's been cleaned up a bit. It's also only about a 5 minute walk to Place des Arts so would be... More

It is not only an hotel but also a condominium. So when it offers hotel services it doesn’t meet the expectations you have for a four stars hotel. The lobby is spacious and just there you have the opportunity to see the style of the place. Walls are concrete, dark grey/black. Ceilings are black. Hostesses at the reception are black... More

I was so impressed with my room and the view of "Old Montreal." In fact, I never turned the television on during my stay... I've read some of the reviews and can't believe people and their expectations. This hotel is right in the centre of Montreal's passion and excitement. The streets are full of restaurants and wonderful folks from all... More

Out of hundreds of hotels in Montreal I quite frankly was very much surprised with the concept, meaning the design and ambiance of the hotel. In addition quality of service was amazing! You know the feeling of individuality unlike the chain hotels the individual approach to all of your concerns questions and comments, they fight for you as a customer.... More

When I booked this hotel I did not know what to expect. I called the hotel before we arrived and the staff was perfect and very helpful. When we arrived the person at the front desk remembered my call and the reason for our visit - celebrating our wedding anniversary. The valet parking was nice and our car was available... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
