We found this hotel at the last minute and were absolutely delighted with it, so much so we stayed an extra night. The suite was perfect, lovely sitting area, fully equipped kitchen, lovely bedroom with extremely comfortable bed and quality bed linen and it was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful, especially the manager. The location is great making... More

We traveled to Montreal in April for a short vacation. When we arrived at Parc Suites, a little earlier than check-in time, we were offered an upgrade from a king studio to a king suite at no additional charge. The room was very clean and spacious. It also had a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. My only... More

We liked this charming, comfortable hotel so much, we stayed an extra night. The location is very convenient, near McGill University and a nice walking distance to restaurants, shops of all kinds, and interesting neighborhoods. The suites are nicely decorated, with all amenities and roomy. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again.

My husband and I spent two quiet nights in this clean quaint hotel. We arrived by VIA train and the cab fare was less than $10.00 and arrival was within 15 minutes. The front staff were very helpful and offered maps and directions to tourist attractions which were close and within walking distance. One block away was a very efficient... More

Stayed here for one night in a king size suite. The hotel is not easy to find. It wasn't where my GPS said it was, which is obviously not their fault, but better signage would have been good. Also, the front steps were dangerously slippery because of snow. As soon as you go through the front door, you have to... More

Quaint little hotel with a kitchenette close to a lot of places within walking distance. Very clean with very comfortable King size bed and a huge flat screen TV. My daughter and I stayed here one night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here.

This hotel is within walking distance to everything. Grocery store just down the street and Tim Hortons directly across from the hotel. Rooms were spacious clean and cozy. We were a family of five and stayed in a King bed suite and had plenty of room. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the General manager Turgay. He made... More

We just returned from a January trip to Montreal. This is a very cozy, comfortable, well located little boutique hotel. The suites and beds are very comfortable, the little pullman kitchen is stocked with all the tools you may need, and the staff is just wonderful: very gracious, acommodating, friendly and helpful. The location is close to everything: Downtown, Old... More

The suite was not very spacious but did have everything I needed! The bed was extremely comfortable and staff were very polite and very helpful. My only negative feedback would be that because we were on the second floor it took a long time for the water to heat up and the hardware on the sink in the washroom was... More

Disclaimer: we prefer soulless chain hotels when it comes to leisure travel, so this hotel was right away out of our preferred range. Surprisingly we loved it here! The location is perfect, close to everything. About 20-25 min walk to old Montreal, or a quick metro ride, very close to the Mount Royal Park and bustling streets with many eateries... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
