Sandman hotel Montreal , modern clean hotel on outskirts of city in longeuil university area, adjacent to the metro line of the same name. Pool facilities, free internet ( but slow), reasonable condition. Buffet breakfast and coffee shop. Parking for a fee. Family friendly, good for stopover. Air con of old window fitted style in rooms which is noisy and... More

Good: location, very close to the Metro and 2 stations from downtown Montreal, free parking, room was clean and quiet , heated pool, excellent service from the girls at reception desk. Bad: expensive(200$/night),no fridge, slow WiFi, outdated furniture(special the lobby), a few channels with a poor reception. I would definitely recommended, but for the right price.

Awesome, is what I would describe. Loved the stay. Clean and tidy. Will go back again if few things are corrected. Would have rated 5 but few drawbacks. Only drawbacks: Very slow Internet, Not enough toiletries, no drinking water and Tea/Coffee maker kept in toilet, which is very unhygienic.

Booked directly on the phone for 115$. The check in was friendly and quick, and was provided a room with a view of the Jacques Cartier bridge and the Montreal downtown area, a king bed, LCD TV, sofa bed, clean bathroom, and good wifi. They do have a pool which i did not use and a gym with older equipment.... More

We rented the 'luxury suite' but it was far from luxurious, it looked more like a crappy motel room in an aging building. No exhaust in the bathroom, clogged bath drain, awful soundproofing, dirty and soaky wet(!) carpets, no table (just a desk) were only some of the problems we encountered. Also breakfast is too expensive and ends too early... More

The room was not cleaned properly, there was hair all over the bathroom floor, and the shower walls looked like they'd never seen a sponge. In addition, the bed sheets were quite visibly stained. Bed was uncomfortable. I also accidentally forgot a pair of trousers and a blouse in the closet in our suite, and unlike other hotels, they made... More

The room we were in looked stuffy and old. It didnt look clean, neither the bedroom nor the bathroom. The coffee machine was in the bathroom and coffee pot wasn't clean. I agree with one reviewer..just stay away from this hotel.

I don't know why people writing reviews waste time talking about how friendly the staff at the front desk are. The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly, but WHO CARES!!! When I'm staying at a hotel I only care about two things, LOCATION and CLEANLINESS. This is an old hotel that needs renovating ASAP. In fact, you can call... More

My room is big with a king bed, Im here only for 1 night because of the tour I stayed here. I can see a little bit sea view from my room, is just ok for staying one night. Its too old for me. i feel scared.
