This hotel is really refurbished military buildings on the old CAF Summerside Airbase. Checkin went well with friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. we were directed to our building where we made our way to our room. The buildings are renovated and clean howevervthe floors creak as you walk. The room was simple; a queen size bed, desk, two basic... More

The hotel was a disappointment right from the start. The room was an ice box, no thanks the the badly installed AC, that the wind went right around. The bathroom floor was even colder. We had booked a room with one Queen bed, got to our room and had two twin beds. Not to mention the parking lot near the... More

We were treated to lunch during a business trip and this restaurant was the closest to our location. Good varied lunch menu at an affordable price. The local businesses seemed to use this place regularly and are satisfied with the quality. It is built out of the old military buildings and you can tell that it was addapted for this... More

I stayed at the hotel for almost 3 months as I was taking a course at the school next door. The hallways were constantly littered with trash and house keeping rarely cleaned up and refused to tidy up your room if it was the least bit messy. The rooms themselves were outdated and definitely not worth the $500+ a month.... More

I stayed at this facility for a week in December 2014. I was in room 510. I base my rating almost solely on the quality of the room and the food. The room is out do date nod old. The heating is based on a boiler system and it was difficult to find a stable temperature. I found I was... More

My family and I stayed at the Slemon Park Hotel while we were in PEI. It is not a hop, skip and a jump to the beach from here, but it is clean, neat and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was like staying in an army barracks, but then I guess it was a military facility. The... More

This is converted barracks. What makes this place decent, is the staff are helpful and willing to go the extra mile for you....all you have to do is ask. It has coin operated laundry facilities, which is nice if you are on vacation. The downside was the restaurant kept running out of food. I don't understand how that happens. The... More

Converted barracks! So although there is lots of "room", (we had a two-room/family "suite"), it is far from a "suite" in the true sense of the word. But for the most part, it is clean and we needed something that wasn't too far from the Confederation Bridge since we were arriving at night. It is definitely the right price but... More

My family and I travelled to PEI for the first time this July. All I can say is definitely a beautiful province! For Canadians it is great to experience our own country. We didn't know what to look for when searching for a hotel, so I chose a place within a short drive from the confederation bridge. We chose an... More

Being a Military family, you could definately tell we were in renovated barracks! Two rooms with a kitchenette & bathroom. Nothing to complain about except there was only one flat pillow each and the coffee maker didn't work. Minor, certainly not a reason not to stay there again! My beef was with the dining room staff! Included in the price... More
