I travel for work so I spend 35 weeks a year in hotels and motels. I spent 2 weeks at this motel in Late November early December. For the LOW LOW price of $250 a week. It is an older motel, but it has new owners and a new name "shine motel" the owners try very hard to accommodate. The... More

We were going to camp at the provincial park but is was pouring rain and very cold so we opted for a motel. We passed a few on the way into Summerside and decided that the Mulberry looked okay and was close to town. Mistake #1, should have looked at rooms before paying! Very bare, uncomfortable beds and cleanliness was... More

The room was iffy at best. There was a sickly sweet smell, like they'd sprayed something to try to cover up another smell. We asked for a different room and it was worse and smelled like cigarettes, so we got this room back. I don't like to feel skeeved out, but I did here. The curtains didn't fully cover the... More

Older hotel in good location, beds squeaky, not great ventilation in rooms especially bathroom, staff was very friendly but this location was noisy all night long, people running in and out, slamming doors, appeared to be moving things during the night, very disappointed would not stay again.

We stayed here because we were having problems with our house. We asked for a non smoking room, it smelled very strongly of smoke. There was dust everywhere, There were signs of water damage in the bathroom. There were not enough towels for everyone. The phones did not work. The last straw where neighboring guests arriving at 2:30 am and partying.... More

Will never stay here again, booked a room with two queen beds, got a room with one double bed and there was 2 adults and 2 teenagers. One teen slept on the floor(after we layed plastic down) and my husband had to sleep in the car. Room was dirty, hot and small. Breakfast was muffins on a plate in the... More

We were supposed to stay in a tent that night, but we were so tired that we decided to reserve a room last minute at the Mulberry Motel. The man at reception was exceptionally nice and we chatted a bit about this and that. The room, however, was not as impressive. It looked a lot like those motels from old... More

The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies to this motel. The sad thing is with a bit more upgrade it would be an okay place to stay. The chambermaid we had for room 2 was very nice and the front dek clerks were too. That being said the bathroom was dated, but at least place your toilet... More

Old, rundown motel, with thin walls, mildew and smoke smelling rooms and mold all through the bathroom. One lamp in the whole sleeping area with a regular 30-40 watt bulb on a 3-way switch, no mirrors except for a rusted old medicine cabinet mounted above the toilet (not sink) in the bathroom, no bureau except for 3 low, single drawer...
