The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Early and late checkout was not a problem, and there was no charge. My room was clean and comfortable. It's an older building, so it may be on the rustic side for some people, but I thought it was a great place to stay. Would absolutely stay there again.

A one-night Valentine's stay turned into a three-night storm refuge with all roads and the bridge closed. And that was fine by us! Second time staying here. Best value in Charlottetown, hands down. Simple, clean rooms with lots of historic downtown character. Very friendly and helpful caretaker and owner. Will be staying here again and highly recommend it for anyone... More

Great place to stay if you want a clean room, great hospitality and you are not expecting the frills of a five star room. Yes, the rooms may be a bit small and the bathrooms are a little too small for most people but you have to remember this is a historical house. Loved the character and felt very much... More

The place was a 145 years old in a city that is only 150 years old which makes this place very you-neat, when I got there Larry was there to give me my room key and he explain what they had and I like that they made sure that you were parking in the right place so your car would... More

There were dog droppings all over the driveway. The rooms were dingy, smelly, poorly equipped, and old. The shower leaked between two of our rooms within 30 minutes of arriving, and phone calls to the owner went unanswered. We eventually had to change hotels. A refund was promised but never paid, and our complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... More

This is a very old building, if you were born, with the silver spoon, spend $150, you can find what your lookin for. If you don't mind roughin it, this place(the room I stayed in), was clean and the bed was comfortable. You can't beat the location, right in the heart of the city. With the extra $100 I saved,... After reading some mixed reviews I was hesitant to stay here, but I was so wonderfully pleased with this charming place. A heritage building with great character and yet all of the comfort and modern conveniences I could want including a kitchenette and wall fireplace unit, comfortable beds and tasteful decor. A beautiful place to stay in the heart of... More
