We had the master bedroom suite and it was large and extremely comfortable with a view of the lake and spa tub. But, the thing that makes this B&B special is Lorraine & John. We were helped before our trip to help plan it, and received detailed instructions upon arrival. After I was injured on an excursion, Lorraine supplied ice... More

We enjoy Canada in the summer and always travel by motorcycle. We are constantly on the move and are always scouting B&B's in different Provinces. We found our home in Prince Edward Island with John and Lorraine at VanDykes Lakeside B&B. First of all, the feeling of being home was at the top of the list. John and Lorraine treated... More

As soon as you enter the Van Dykes' home, you automatically become part of the family. What a great couple. John and Lorraine truly enjoy people, they are wonderful hosts. John and Lorraine treated us so well. They have a lovely house in a beautiful part of PEI. The breaksfasts were amazing. Wow, Lorraine can bake! I can't say enough nice things about our room with the jacuzzi and the graciousness of the hosts including Boots (she is so cute). The house is close to many attractions on the island... More

If you are looking for a place to stay on the east side, then here is where you want to be! Lorraine and John opened their home for us off-season and treated us like family right from the start. We arrived as strangers and left as friends! Thank you so much for everything!
