It was our first trip to PEI and what a treat it was to stay with Maureen and John at the Charlotte's Rose Inn in Charlottetown PEI. We were warmly welcomed to the Inn, the room was outstanding, and the breakfasts were incredible and we experienced nothing even close to it in our month long tour of the Maritimes. Maureen's... We stayed for 3 nights in the apartment at the top of this incredible house. The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful. Thank you very much for their excellent hospitality. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and a large sofa bed in the sitting room. There was a well-stocked kitchen and a dining table for us to sit... More

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed like family, not customers. This lovely inn, appointed to the nines with era antiques and touches, is a lovely reprieve from hotels and more casual B&Bs. The breakfasts -- oh the breakfasts! John is a warm and humorous host and Maureen is a cook from a different era. The food is wonderful,... More

FIRST: The proprietors are super friendly and accommodating to every need of their guests. You couldn't ask for more. They were perfect! PROS: Great location to historic section and Victoria Park (boardwalk). Overall appearance of the Inn is quaint and well maintained (VERY Victorian.) Excellent breakfast: 3 courses of tasty, adventurous, delicious surprises topped off with a fresh baked goodie.... More

I stayed at Charlotte's Rose Inn at the end of August 2013. We spent a fantastic time in Charlotte’s rose B&B. The owners Maureen and John thought of every detail to make your stay unforgettable. After having this experience, we would return again and we would like to recommend it to everyone wants to visit Charlottetown. We loved our stays... More

We have been using B&Bs more in the last few years, and thought we would try Charlotte's Rose. It was a wonderful stay. Our hosts, Maureen and John, were well versed in the what to do, where to go, and what to see, not only in Charlottetown, but the surrounding ares as well. Breakfast was a treat, with some unusual... I stayed at Charlotte's Rose Inn in early July 2013, when I had to be in Charlottetown for a conference downtown. The Inn was perfectly located for strolling around town to restaurants, theatres, the harbour and the promenade at Victoria Park. I could even come back at lunch time, or walk back and forth from the lovely yoga studio in... More

We spent four nights with Maureen and John. They were charming, knowledgeable, and gracious. The location of the inn is perfect. We happily abandoned our car for the duration because everything we wanted was within easy walking distance. Breakfast was different and delicious every morning. They really made an effort to remember preferences and dislikes. The Inn is aggressively Victorian,... More

Nice facility in a good location, an easy walk from anywhere useful. Parking. That misses the point. The proprietors are very, very nice. They are friendly, helpful, not intrusive, and she makes the best breakfasts I have ever had. Sophisticated, straight from new cuisine cookbooks. They have six sets of tableware (they say) and we saw three. They helped arrange... More

This charming B&B is owned by a couple of British origin. We had booked the Confederation room. The decor was Victorian (charming) with all sort of details. The bathroom modern and spacious. The breakfasts were amongst the best breakfast we had the pleasure to eat! A new set of china everyday...so pretty...and everything matching. Thank you to John and Maureen... More
