Just winding up a delightful week at this excellent inn a few steps away from the heart of charming Charlottetown. From the moment of arrival my wife and I knew we had made the right choice of a place to stay. We have been extremely comfortable here, not surprising after reading the glowing reports of previous guests. Innkeepers Arie,Jinny and... more

We stayed here for three nights in early August and had an excellent time. The room was spacious comfortably accommodating a sofa and coffee table as well as a large working desk and a fridge. The wardobe was very large with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was also well sized and equipped. Although on the second floor I was offered... more

We stayed 1 night in a room on the lower level (half basement). There was a musty odor when we checked in so we opened the window. When we returned, the smell was worse and we found that the sofa in the room was part of the source. We asked the management if they had another room, or if they... more

This was indeed an unfortunate situation, however, it is even more unfortunate that the entire story was not disclosed by this guest, so I will take the responsibility to shed some truth. Our basement rooms are kept incredibly clean, and odorless. However, the sofa in this particular room had a stain that was not detected by our cleaning staff. This...

We loved this hotel and our room (the rose room). The breakfast was plentiful and there were lots of extra amenities--free DVDs to watch in your room, complimentary parking, tea and coffee in the parlor... We walked everywhere in downtown Charlottetown easily from here. We would definitely stay here again. more

As a recent graduate from a University in Toronto, my boyfriend and I decided to take a road trip through the East Coast to celebrate. We stayed in the compact yellow room which was a great size for us and a great deal considering the price. The house was absolutely charming, comfortable, VERY clean and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious... more

We spent two nights at the Heritage Harbour House Inn based on previous Trip Advisor reviews, and were not disappointed. I had looked at the Delta Prince Edward which may be closer to the waterfront but quite a bit more expensive. The Heritage Harbour House is a very doable 10 minute walk to the waterfront where we enjoyed free outdoor... more

In a leafy section of the city near the water and within walking distance of the downtown restaurant and harbor areas this B&B is a quiet and comfortable option for staying in Charlottetown. Plenty of off-street parking is convenient. Our room was on the top floor of the original part of the home, under the eaves. The bad news is... more

Thank you for your positive comments! It's rare to see the same room reviewed twice by two different guests (Compact room, 1 Queen bed, private 3pc bath!) About the bathroom: Yes, the Compact rooms do have smaller, 3pc baths instead of the normal 4pc baths that Standard Rooms contain. However, I am happy that our shower passed your three point...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed more. We were attending the Festival of Lights and looked for a place that was close to downtown and affordable. The Heritage Harbour House Inn is just steps from downtown and you can't beat the price. We stayed in the Queen compact room which was... more

Thank you for your positive review! About the Compact room: Thank you for the lovely pictures you took of the room (they are almost better than the ones on our website!) We are glad that you felt comfortable inside the Compact Room with 1 Queen bed, and a private 3pc bath. Thank you for mentioning the common kitchenette area where...

I have visited many places in the world and have to say that this is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The hosts are so friendly and make sure your stay is as private as you want it to be. We met so many interesting people there. The breakfast time was a great oportunity to meet people and... more

Thank you very much for your positive review! We were more than happy to have you here with us, in the Junior suite...or what we call "The Rose Room." Thank you for featuring such great photos of our front yard...the breakfast table, and the breakfast nook located in your suite! I'm sure your vacation was filled with great memories here...

My husband and I have stayed here two years in a row and would be this year except for the fact they were totally booked up for the time period we wanted . The Inn is very conveniently located, only two or three blocks from the Confederation Center, to which we could easly walk ----the car was left at the... more

Thank you so much for your positive review of our location. We are terribly sorry that we could not accommodate you this year, but we hope you found suitable reservations here on our Gentle Island, PEI. I appreciate your comments about our breakfast! You're right, this is not Europe, however, we are working on a cheese board platter anyways, as...
