I spent 5 nights here in May 2015 for an educational conference. Delightful stay! Accommodations were true to an historic building and the service excellent. Bed and pillows were among some of the best ever! Would highly recommend and if ever in PEI again....I will definitely chose to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful week!!

This hotel is ... Pretty bad , from being old and not updated , bad service , dark and dreary feel to it , a bathroom that is so old the tub is rusted and the sink faucet is almost impossible to turn , breakfast is not included , the only good thing about this hotel is that it's close... More

I stayed here in April 2015 for a hockey tournament. It's an older hotel with a lot of charm. Odd to have actual keys for your room. The hotel is old but very clean. Very much a historic feel throughout the hotel. Rooms were fairly small but had everything you needed. The location was right downtown and walking distance to... More

This is a delightful hotel, even the Queen stayed here some years ago. Rooms excellent, bed comfy - but - an appalling air con noise which forced us to move at 1.30 am to another room which wasn't much better. Most of the noise it seems came from the Fire station air con next door so try and get over... More

I stayed here for work/conference for three days. While it wasn't perfect, it certainly was charming. The biggest marketing factor for this hotel is obviously its history and overall enchantment. It is well located in downtown Charlottetown, although there are several hotels within the same radius so there are few options. The bed was comfortable and the room was adequate... More

This hotel is not suited for the business traveller. The rooms lack desk space and modern amenities. The furnishings and decor are likely from the era of this hotel's construction. The photos on the website do not represent what you actually get in these small rooms. Worse still is he fact that the walls are paper thin so you can... More

I came here for a business trip. This hotel is centrally located in Charlottetown (like all hotels in downtown charlottetown, which is very small). The hotel feels a bit old. For example, it was almost quaint to be given a key rather than a keycard. I like the alarm clock in the room though - some hotels have alarm clocks... More

This grand old Canadian hotel retain much of it's historic charm. There is a very impressive grand lobby and even a terrace on the roof for some great city views. Our room was beautifull, with a very nice view of the park beside the hotel. The service was friendly and helpfull. The hotel is in a great location if you... More

This Hotel is a little old and the rooms are a little small. But the beds were excellent and the rooms were very clean. We were there on a hockey tournament and the staff were extremely accommodating. I would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament. It is a wonderful beautiful old hotel with lots of ambiance. The rooms are small for a family with hockey gear, hard to turn around. The old building makes privacy hard to come by. Our room was next to a locked door, we are guessing maybe a service elevator. It was... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our hotel is old compared to others in Charlottetown but has all the modern amenities such as large flat screen televisions, free internet, irons, fridges etc. The tiles in the bathrooms are original and due to age and time the grout is discoloured but it is not mold. We have... More
