This was a completely average hotel (not to say that is bad) right in the heart of downtown Windsor. Honestly, if you could get to the hotel, you don't need a car. Walk to the Casino, downtown restaurants and the tunnel bus to go back/forth to Detroit. One major caution: the rooms on the back of the hotel face the... more

Nice place to stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. They sugest lots of nice places to eat. They make us feel like we are at home. I stay often and never think to write a review, when reading some of the reviews I can't belive its the same place they are talking about. more

Stayed at this hotel during a bachelor party weekend with 10 other guys. It was $160 for three of us who shared a room, which I thought was way overpriced. The best thing about it was the short distance to the casino and the bars. The hotel smelled in the hallways and the room and bathroom were not very clean.... more

Friendly staff, the room was ready for me when I checked in, the room had a river view, sofa bed, refrigerator and wired internet connection. Although the decor was a bit tired, everything was in excellent working order, clean and comfortable. The hotel does have a large, young clientèle on the weekend, partying in the area bars and clubs. Although... more

Where to start?! The room smelled and was still dirty with trash leftover from a previous occupant. There was even a filthy baseball cap behind a chair. The room was on the so called "corporate" floor but it was so tiny with 2 queen beds. Barely any room to turn around but since it was a one night stay it... more

When I had an interview with the University of Windsor, they put me up in this hotel. I had a city view room, so I didn't get to enjoy the spectacular view of Detroit and the river. The room was clean and decent, nice king sized bed and wood furniture. Was close to the downtown resturants and bars (though I... more

We stayed at the Travelodge Downtown Windsor for 1 night. It was a last minute booking but we were able to get this hotel at $52 per room via Hotwire. The location was excellent - right on the Windsor riverside walk facing the detroit skyline and Renaisssance Center. The hotel was a little worn, the included continental breakfast is pretty... more
