Stayed here 12/30-12/31. Valeted car and checked in. Was a simple procedure. Booked directly with hotel. Room was essentially a king bed with a wall of windows overlooking the Detroit river. I bid on a 2.5 star hotel in Windsor and got Hilton instead. Needless to say I was ecstatic because it is located by the river and is close to everything. The Hilton in Windsor is pretty much the best bang for your dollar. It has spectacular views, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and amazing friendly service. Booked the room on Hotwire for $54 USD ($66 with taxes). Got a 19th floor room with a great view! Room was quiet with 2 comfy beds and 4 pillows per bed. I think I expected too much. You would think because it was a Hilton hotel you would get more amenities. . . wrong. You have to pay for parking, breakfast (which was overpriced), internet, drinking water. The view from the room was half of the hotel next door and of Detroit.
