Planet Traveler Hostel is a great central place to walk most of Toronto. Rooms small but comfortable for two (three would be a squeeze). Bathrooms excellent. Breakfast all you could want apart from a cooked meal. Fresh fruit, tea, coffee available all the time. Staff very helpful and friendly. Hostel laundry wonderful. Would definitely stay again if in Toronto.

My single night in Toronto, I had to make a good choice. This is not the cheapest place you can find, but for sure it is a great deal, considering the amazing services and specially the terrace view to the city. Simply amazing for some night shots, if you like photography. The only thing that may classify this place as... More

Stayed here for around a week in August, and have to say, I loved the place! Firstly all the staff are really nice and helpful and like to have a laugh when they are working which makes the place that more enjoyable, and are happy to chat and answer any questions you have! The downstairs are is open planned with... More

We stayed for two nights, and it was a great experience. We were very grateful for the safe parking for just $10 a day! The location was wonderful and easy to find, the staff was sweet and very knowledgeable, and the facilities were very nice. The rooms were clean, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a... More

My wife and I stayed at Planet Traveler one night on our way to NYC. The room is small and quiet. The bed is good. The best part was the people working there, they were cool. We arrived early and they even managed to add us to the morning group which was heading to Niagara Falls. On the day we... More

If you are a proper backpacker you might not like this place. Its as close to a hotel as a hostel can get. Extremely modern, clean and great facilities - it even has i-macs . I would recommend it for anybody looking for a reasonable priced stay in Toronto. It has great facilities, free breakfast and wifi and is right... More

We are just back from a beautiful holiday in Canada and will make reviews of all places we stayed during our holiday. Of all the great places we have stayed during our stay, I have to say that the Planet Traveler in Toronto was the best. My wife and I booked a double room together with our 1-year old daughter... I stayed here for 7 days just last week and was very pleased with the Planet Traveler. I arrived in Toronto using Via Rail from Winnipeg and had no problems finding the place and checking in. In fact, the first night they gave me a private room (for the price of a dorm). I can't complain about that. The place... More
