We stayed for two nights, and it was a great experience. We were very grateful for the safe parking for just $10 a day! The location was wonderful and easy to find, the staff was sweet and very knowledgeable, and the facilities were very nice. The rooms were clean, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a... More

My wife and I stayed at Planet Traveler one night on our way to NYC. The room is small and quiet. The bed is good. The best part was the people working there, they were cool. We arrived early and they even managed to add us to the morning group which was heading to Niagara Falls. On the day we... More

If you are a proper backpacker you might not like this place. Its as close to a hotel as a hostel can get. Extremely modern, clean and great facilities - it even has i-macs . I would recommend it for anybody looking for a reasonable priced stay in Toronto. It has great facilities, free breakfast and wifi and is right... More

We are just back from a beautiful holiday in Canada and will make reviews of all places we stayed during our holiday. Of all the great places we have stayed during our stay, I have to say that the Planet Traveler in Toronto was the best. My wife and I booked a double room together with our 1-year old daughter... I stayed here for 7 days just last week and was very pleased with the Planet Traveler. I arrived in Toronto using Via Rail from Winnipeg and had no problems finding the place and checking in. In fact, the first night they gave me a private room (for the price of a dorm). I can't complain about that. The place... More

Very modern and clean, nice and big open kitchen and general chill out area, not to mention the rooftop which is just stunning. Very social hostel, great to meet people, and close to the trendy hipster Kensington area which is super cute. Would definitely stay again

I didn't expect very much from this hostel due to the very cheap price, but I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this place was. It is in a great location, just a 5/10 minute tram from Dundas Square (main bars/shopping) The general area is a cool eclectic mix of coffee shops and varied shops. The view of Toronto from... More

New, perfectly equipped and clean hostel in a college neighborhood(on a street appropriately named College St). A hike from touristy attires but convenient for local cool kids dining and shopping(right next to Augusta St Kensington Market, and hip Ossington and Queen St West). Free decent breakfast, lots of lounging space, and great rooftop. Very friendly staff were helpful as well.... More

Stayed in 5 hostels during my trip. Planet Traveler is the best hostel I've stayed. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. The whole hostel is clean and new. Breakfast is very good (a lot of cereals and bagels)! I really recommend this hostel.
