I've stayed here too many times to count!! I love this hotel - it's huge! It's luxurious! And it feels like home! The room offers the finest, most spacious accommodations in the central Toronto area with an amazing bathroom and closet space galore! The area is Yorkville - the ultra-hip and trendy spot in the city for loads of shopping... More

The Hazelton's location in Yorkville is absolute perfection, an in spite of the heavy construction throughout much of the neighbourhood, we completely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is sylish but inviting, and the service was impeccable. The rooms are a little on the dark side, but the combination of the black-out blinds and the comfortable bed and linens made for... Except for the construction which made getting into the property challenging, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hazelton. This boutique hotel in the midst of the upscale Yorkville neighborhood is perfect in every way. The breakfasts were perfect; the room was spacious and wonderful with fantastic amenities, and the staff was particularly helpful. The street (once the construction is... More

I've traveled to many parts of the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe. No hotel has come close to the service, accommodations, amenities and commitment to excellence that the Hazelton has done. Toronto may have a new "6 star" hotel in the 4 Seasons - you'd have to drag me there kicking and screaming from here. Construction was finishing up for... More

The beautiful hotel offers a sensational location with proximity to subway, stores and restaurants. The rooms are lovely and spacious . The staff is friendly and very helpful. The bar and restaurant in the hotel is well priced and busy. It offers easy access to marvelous boutiques . Can't wait to return

Not a big fan of boutique hotels, unless they come in this format...modern, elegant, comfortable, large rooms, huge bathrooms, great restaurant, (and great watch shop with high end niche brands...Richard Mille, HYT, etc...), super cool neighbourhood with perfect shopping. I'll be back.

The Hazelton was great - super comfortable bed, a beautiful room and a great bathroom. However there was major construction on the street - granted, it wasn't the hotel's fault, but it was a factor in not having the best experience possible.

Alleged to be a top hotel, more like a juiced up hilton. Nothing special or unique, not a boutique by any means. Restaurant in lobby is great, but all other facilities are pretty dated and grim. Pool is a large bathtub in a basement, gym fits 3 people max. Rooms are large, but nothing special. No art or decor on... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
