Excellent location. Five minutes walk from the Lake Erie and a few metres from the tram to go to the City. Close to Queen Street full of restaurants and shops. Rooms are very clean, breaftast delicious served at 8:30 by very friendly hosts: Steven and Paul. Parking a car was a problem but Steve organised a ticket to park a... More

Located in the beaches this is a great location. After a slight hiccup with our arrival time (we were told it woudn't be ready unlil 6pm as someone had our room for a late check out!!) things worked out and it was ready when we arrived. Steve was a great host and very helpful with what to see in the... More

I needed to find accommodation quickly for just a few days in Toronto in the Danforth / Beach area while visiting my daughter and helping with renovation. Fortunately, I discovered just a short distance away, Steve and Paul’s The Soul Bed & Breakfast, wonderfully located just a few paces away from delightful Queen Street with all its quaint boutiques and... The location, the accommodations and the hosts. Extremely clean & quiet. Coming from a small village I was pleasantly surprised to find myself feeling very comfratable in this area of Toronto. I'm sure it had alot to do with Steven and Paul and their genuine warmth and caring of their guests. Would definately go back.

What an incredible find! Steps from Queen Street East and Kew beach in the heart of “The Beaches” area of Toronto, Beach Accommodating the Soul B and B offers guests a surprisingly tranquil base from which to explore the city. Hosts Steven and Paul are unobtrusive and respectful of guests’ privacy yet, from the moment they greet you, you feel... More

This summer we stayed in that wonderful B&B. It is perfectly located in a very nice part of Toronto. It is very close to the Ontario lake and within some minutes you are in downtown. The house on the whole and the rooms are lovingly furnished. The street is calm but near the Queenstreet with many shops and restaurants. Steve... More

Our stay at Accommodating the Soul was memorable and peaceful. Extremely clean accommodations, shoes off at the door. Steve and Paul are gracious hosts, and breakfasts were delicious and nicely presented. They arranged for parking on the street, which was a breeze. Pretty neighborhood. The garden in the back is amazing. Easy walk to streetcar, many restaurants and the beach.

We loved our stay at this bed and breakfast. The location was amazing, just steps from Queen Street and the beaches, and just moments from downtown Toronto. The house and garden were immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the best thing about Accomodating the Soul was the hosts! Steven and Paul were so friendly and genuine.... More

Loved staying at this B&B. Great hosts, hot breakfasts, good coffee and fabulous location very close to the lake, shops and cafes. Could not have been better. A great B&B. Three rooms - two sharing a bathroom, one with ensuite.

We spend three nights at The Soul on a city trip to Toronto. The neighborhood is excellent, if you don't mind to take public transportation or your car to downtown and the sightseeing spots. Many small shops and restaurants nearby. Also very close to beach and recreational areas. But more important than that: Steve and Paul are very warm and... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
