Took my parents here for a long weekend getaway. We had two of the Tower Suites Rooms and were all very happy with this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with great views and lots of space. The beds were comfortable with high quality linens. We had to wait a bit for our second... More

This hotel excels in the value. Very spacious studio style with fully-equipped kitchen. Nice size room. All facilities feel very new. Bed was nice. We added a rollaway bed for kids for $25. Parking $40 a little expensive, but everywhere the same expensive around downtown. Location is good. Easy walk everywhere.

I travel frequently to Toronto for business and have used this hotel a number of times. The location can't be beat. Right downtown. Walkable to the downtown shopping mall and right on the subway line. A couple of years ago they gave the lobby a refresh and I was happily surprised to see on my return that the guest suites... The hotel was gorgeous, comfortable and close to the market and restaurants and ferry. We had difficulty parking----the entrance to the garage under the hotel is tricky to get to and the valet was obviously stressed and extremely rude. After driving all day we weren't thrilled to get that kind of treatment when attempting to park. Word of advice---check in,... More

I haven't even checked in yet and I am already upset. I booked on a different website other than the hotels with a via-debit card. I have just found out you need a FULL CREDIT CARD when you get there because they take $250 from you for a "safety deposit". After i paid $250 for a room, you're asking for... More

Stayed for the weekend with my husband. We were in a king size room, you could definitely tell that it use to be a condo room. Perfect location for what we were doing that weekend. Chose to do valet parking, had a bit of an issue with another tag number being registered to our room/name. It was dealt with quickly... More

Absolutely amazing! Staff was very courteous and kind. Was only booked for a weekend but wished to have stayed much longer. Located in a very accessible area if walking to visit busier areas downtown Toronto.

This hotel is situated well within the heart of Toronto. Our experience here was great and this was due to the friendly service of the front reception and others. The rooms were clean. The bed was so comfortable that it needed mentioning. The bag storage service was courteous as well as prompt.

I was recently in Toronto for an overnight trip. I had an event at Harbourfront Centre and needed a hotel that was located near this venue. I found this particular hotel on Hotels.com and did not actually know anything about this property. I went strictly on location and affordability. Was I pleasantly surprised with what we got! The beauty of... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
