Stayed two nights in this hotel (suppose to be 4) and its the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The room was oddly configured and extremely dirty, the walls are all scuffed up, kind of like a University dorm! The comforter was disgustingly dirty and none of the sheets fitted the bed, when asked a housekeeper person they told me... More

The only thing that saved this stay was the staff. They were so friendly and attentive. My room was really really disappointing. The furniture was chipped, like.. beyond being acceptable. The walls were covered in scuff marks. And there were fruit flies everywhere. I don't even know how that's possible. I found dust in the corners everywhere. It looked like... More

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in March to take my children to Comic-con. We booked on line at the last minute. The price was great for a last minute March break adventure and were fortunate to end up here. The room was North facing with a nice view of the city and well appointed to meet our needs. Although... I would not recommend this hotel, and I would advise a review of its star-rating.. I was unable to stay at my usual, beloved boutique hotel in Toronto due to TIFF mayhem, so sought out a 'similar' rated hotel - small, intimate and downtown. The only, and I mean ONLY thing that makes my rating Average and not Poor, is... More

I'm currently writing this review from a room in this hotel. It's sad. The set-up: We decided to spend two nights here after our wedding on Sunday, hoping for a nice experience. The arrival: When we arrived late Sunday night, we were greeted by no one, we had to walk into the hotel and ask the concierge for a dolly... More

Dear Daniel C, Thank you for bringing your feedback to my attention via TripAdvisor. Unfortunately this is the first time I have learned of your experience and I apologize that I did not have an opportunity to connect with you sooner. Your review is very concerning and in no way indicative of the attentive service we aim to provide. I... More

Reserved hotel through Hotwire - we were truly unsatisfied with the room. It was small, and cramped, uncomfortable and we had to undo it and make it up again to get the bed cover and sheets tucked in. No chairs to sit and watch TV or socialize.

I had a lovely stay at the Cosmopolitan Toronto; check in was seamless, and I was offered a free upgrade! Always a pleasant welcome.... I felt like I was in my home away from home - the room was really comfortable, luxurious, and spacious. I enjoyed the xen-like touches throughout. I stayed here for work, so I was pleased the... Was in town for business and was placed in this hotel by my company. Lobby is small and hotel is located on small alley. Check in was a train wreck. Lady at counter seemed overwhelmed with some guy trying to fight the 40$ valet charge. Got to my room and it was small and dirty. Wifi is slow. What kind... More

Stayed here this weekend (Aug 9th) with my wife for our 5th anniversary. We were staying downtown for the weekend(live in Thornhill) and wanted a nice play to stay for our getaway without breaking the bank(i.e. Shangri-la, etc). I called a few days before to ask if I could do something nice in the room for my wife(flowers or something... More

Hotel's condition is average; it would benefit from some renovation. The street it is located on is far from glamorous and ongoing building works make the sleeping somewhat problematic (ear plugs are provided in the hotel room). However if proximity to Union Place bus/train/subway, King, Queen or Yonge, Downtown, a 24/7 supermarket or whatever else one may need in a... More
