I booked 4 nights in a deluxe room through a third party site and was pleasantly surprised when I ended up with a suite. I chose the type of room specifically for the view so at first the 7th floor had me grinding my teeth, but once I opened the door, the lower floor was made up tenfold - bright... More

Very happy with this place . In the city for a couple of nights and wanted to be close to certain attractions . Location did not dissapoint . short walk to ACC center, union station , steamwhistle brewery , Ripleys and many dining options . Had a suite which was very nice . I booked this hotel for its location and for the promise of a kitchen suite. On first arrival it seemed good - but it seems to be located on one of the noisiest streets in Toronto. On the first morning the cleaner threw away the ear plugs I'd had to use and I had to buy more. Then the kitchen... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry your were disappointed in the wifi and the street noise. I will certainly look into why your wifi was not performing as it should and remedy it. We do have pots and pans available upon request and there should have been a sign in the room to... More

This was a great place to stay. The service was great! It is walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant served a meal which was so tasty I know I will return, the steak which you could cut with a fork it was so tender. I recommend this hotel who... More

Having been on the road since 3AM, we decided to drop by the hotel at around 1PM to ask if we could have an early check-in. The desk staff were very helpful; not only did they let us check in on the spot, but they also provided great directions to nearby parking so we didn't have to use their valet... More

Very modern rooms, spacious living space, centrally located, and a great enviroment. Negatives were bedroom lights were not working, found painters tape on finishing trim and could park my truck at there valet. Overall it was tremendous value.

My review speaks to the service, both front desk and in-room dining, and not the hotel accommodation itself. The suite was clean, well maintained and pleasant to stay in. My first impression upon attempting to check-in was being asked to step away from the front desk and sit down in the lobby while the person running the front desk had... More

My husband and I have stayed at the hotel a few times. The location is right downtown Toronto and is really great if you're going to a concert or show at the Sony Centre or any of the restaurants downtown. The front lobby is small but the staff are friendly. The prices are very reasonable compared to surrounding hotels. The... More

I booked a spa massage package for my self and my girlfriend and we booked a hotel room for the same day. The appointment was for 11:30 and checkin was 3pm. When I got there the check in personnel were very kind and welcoming and let me check in early. The spa accommodations and staff were exceptional, they even discounted... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
