We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 213 Carlton. It's a charming old building located in Cabbagetown, and is minutes from all the major attractions in Toronto. In fact, we walked most places we wanted to visit. Our room was on the third floor, and had a view of the Toronto skyline and its own private deck. It was well-appointed and... more

Tan is an excellent host, with plenty of advice and recommendations so you can make the most of your stay in Toronto. The breakfast is not to be missed, especially the pancakes!! Cabbage Town is the perfect base to see the sights of Toronto. It is very easy to get into the centre of Toronto by public transport or heaven... more

... at Tan's and Frank's place you will have a perfect alternative. I stayed there several times (almost my second home :-)) and everytime I enjoyed a warm welcome, excellent breakfast (fresh fruit, homemade granola and eggs prepared to order) and a good conversation. more

We spent a wonderful few days at Tan and Frank's lovely guesthouse in Cabbagetown. After a terrible start to our holiday (missed flights and lost luggage) we were delighted to arrive at such a gorgeous guesthouse, in such a quaint part of Toronto, and to be greeted by the lovely and very helpful Tan. We were ushered to a lovely,... more

The Toronto Townhouse is a great place. It is comfortable, well-kept and in a nice area well-positioned for access downtown. The best part about it is Tan the host, who is charming and efficient and cooks superb breakfasts. A really homely and comfortable place. Thanks Tan more

We stayed for four nights at 213 Carlton, in the balcony room. Our room was very spacious with a nice balcony that looked out over the back garden. The sleigh bed was simply devine and incredibly comfortable, particularly compared to the matress we had been sleeping on for the week prior. Cabbage town is not a part of the city... more

Toronto Town house is very centrally located in Toronto, on a streetcar line and close to the subway. It is quiet, comfortable and good value for money. The host was very helpful and friendly, he had to wait for our arrival past midnight. The breakfast was also excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. more

Tan is a great cook and his breakfasts were exceptional. My colleague stayed at another place closer to the University and her breakfasts weren't even close to the quality of Tan's. He has some training as a chef and it shows. The house itself is lovely, and the neighbourhood fun with lots to see. Make sure you see Riverdale Farm,... more
