Elevator out of service so had to walk up to 3rd floor room. Bed felt comfortable but sheets didn't look clean (stains). Slept on top of the top sheet with no blanket. Used bathroom towel which appeared clean but fraying a bit to cover pillow which also looked stained. TV reception was poor, lots of static. Tried wiggling wires but... More

This hotel is very close to a subway stop and short rides to anywhere interesting...R.O.M., Ontario Art Gallery, etc. The rooms are small and basic, but adequate. The beds are a little hard; not the comfiest. Staff are very friendly. One day we missed breakfast, but they still pulled out some coffee and muffins for us.The BEST part is Gabby's...a... More

My boyfriend and I have stayed here a few times because its convenient to our work and we got a groupon deal for this hotel. Overall the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly enough but the rooms are so tiny! We would never pay full price for this hotel, it's not worth the rates they charge.

We recently spent 3 nights here and found it very satisfactory. In a historic 100+ year building, space is at a premium; recommend the standard queen room for a little more room. Hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Parking is limited and costs an extra $15/day; reserve it when you book. On bus line and a short... More

If you're not concerned with fancy amenities and 5 star restaurants, the Isabella is a decent place to stay. Although it's not smack dab in the middle of the action (a few subway stops away), it's a quiet residential neighborhood with the Sherbourne station about a block away. I was here on a solo trip, I'm a female, and I... More

A friend and myself stayed here back in 2011 (Disregard October 2014, it doesn't go any farther back), and we had no problems whatsoever with this hotel. It's not a 5 star place, the room we stayed in was very tiny. You get what you pay for, and we did not pay too much to stay here, but it's definitely... More

If you're not concerned about space and if you're not the type to unpack upon arrival, you'll be just fine! We arrived later in the evening and were received very warmly. Our room was small but we knew that when we booked! If you're someone who requires a tub, this is not the place for you! If you're high maintenance,... More

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Sketchy people everywhere inside the hotel. From the outside it looks like a crack house. Rude front desk (MALA!). A bathroom so small that while sitting on the toilet, I could brush my teeth, clean the shower open the window and yet still not be able to properly administer toilet paper in an easy way.... More

First time in Canada and everything was so nice!! The hotel is really good! I loved the friendly staff there! Downstairs is a great bar restaurant where you can relax! The Internet is little slow but it's ok for free internet! Also my room was really clean and that's why I like this hotel!
