This weekend I stayed at the Clarion with my boyfriend when we went to see the Taylor Swift concert. I got a discount on the hotel and chose it primarily based on price. I asked for a renovated room, which was great. Very clean and comfortable. The bed did not have a comforter or duvet ,which we thought was strange... More

I have seen a lot of bad comments about the old fashion hotel, however, I feel it's their character. We have asked a renovated room, it's quite pleasant and comfy. The only down side is the bathroom fan was really noisy. The continental breakfast is included with the room. It's not fancy but just enough to get us through the... More

Came to this hotel and SPOILED by the attitude of the front desk who is so unfriendly, sarcastic and ridiculous. He gave us a basement room that they call first floor with a very dusty sheets. We complain to be move to another room, and ask to pay 25$. We did pay just to have a better room. Paid parking and... More

Stayed here for one night in May. Decided to stay the night in Toronto to avoid driving threw the morning rush hour traffic. Booked 2 rooms one King and another with 2 double beds. Both rooms were really nice. Absolutely loved the bathrooms especially the rain fall shower. Free continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Great value... More

A historic building central to main attractions and public transport. There is a bus and metro virtually outside the front door. A very low key hotel if you want a change from the shiny corporate hotels. Stayed in the Hemingway Suite which is very old fashioned and comfortable. A great coffee shop is located a 5 minute walk away as... More

It's difficult to find a nice place to stay in this part of Toronto, or indeed nice places at reasonable cost anywhere in the City. Our family rented six rooms/suites for two nights for a wedding and everyone was satisfied with their accommodation. A bonus was the in-out parking for $17/day, free Internet, old-fashioned elevator, and a continental buffet breakfast... More

After a last minute change of plans we ended up at this place. Place is relatively inexpensive and it showed. Carpets are a bit worn, paint is peeling is some parts, mattress could have been replaced a while agon etc. However the place is clean and safe. A basic continental breakfast is served and all the basic toiletries are available.

This hotel is NOT in the heart of downtown Toronto, but is 1/2 block from a subway stop. It is easy to get to central downtown via 2 subway trains, easy transfer involved. When initially booking the desk staff was not very helpful with providing details of reaching the hotel via public transportation. We figured it out,but a hotel should... More
