stayed at the clarion for 5 nights. room ok, good size storage and bathroom. construction site outside window, but we were not disturbed by this as we got up quite early most days. housekeeping was done very late and we had to make our own bed on 2 occasions as they had not cleaned our room before we returned. breakfast... more

This hotel was convenient to where we were visiting so it did fit our needs. No luxury accommodations here but a good bed, big old bathroom, big closet, small room. If you are looking for a budget hotel, this is near all the big intersections of buses, subways, taxis and foot traffic. more

The hotel is a converted mansion/school so it is a unique building. The hotel is located east of Bloor and Yonge in a typical neighborhood. We don't mind old - but this building needs extensive repair and renovation. The carpets throughout are threadbare and stained, the paint and wallpaper thoughout needs an update. We stayed in the hotel for three nights. The hotel is located near Yonge Street and just a few steps from the subway. All in all the hotel appears old, but it is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offers a fair choice, although there is only plastic cutlery available. The noise level in the room was moderate. more

The woman at the front desk who was always working was my biggest problem. She was rude and not knowledgable at all. When we checked in we learned there was no parking in the hotel.
