The hotel staff was great. Husband had surgery and they were very accommodating as to the room location, and assistance in everyway possible. Breakfast lady was helpful in assisting to get food ready for him and they had no problem extending our checkout time until our ride arrived. Not the best part of Toronto but it served our purpose. Staff... More

Finding the hotel was a bit of a headache (I'm not from Toronto or the surrounding area and do not frequent Toronto) The hotel sign was fabric not lit or very visible from street. We ended up driving past the hotel and had to loop back. Getting luggage into the hotel was a hassle. The entrance has stairs (no ramps,... More

I booked this hotel due to the location to the Billy Bishop airport and the nicely renovated rooms. The hotel s located in the Ghetto in a sketchy unsafe area. I am glad I was never alone outside as there were a lot of homeless, and drunks around. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is fairly decent but that... More

The hotel staff were great, friendly, especially the lovely breakfast lady! Was in town for a 2 day conference. Nice room, clean, met all my needs. Surrounding area is a tad scary in the evening but you get what you pay for. But most concerning for me, was waking up in the morning (6:30) am and as I was leaving my... More

The staff was not ready with my room when I arrived -- it was after the check-in time. The room was small and dark. It was one of the cheaper hotels available hence why I chose it. If you just need a place to sleep for the night it does the job, but if you wanted to spend a little... More

We chose to stay here purely from cost and recent refurb ... if you join Choice Rewards and pay in advance the savings are substantial. We were given an access room so there was plenty of space and a bigger bathroom on the 4th floor. The lift is INCREDIBLY slow but at least it works, the hallways are a bit... More

This hotel gets 5 stars for its location, which is close to Ryerson and just what I needed when I was dropping off my son to begin university. It also gets five for the staff, who were friendly and beyond helpful. We arrived with masses of heavy (overweight) luggage but the clerk cheerfully moved them to the lower level and... More

My husband and I came to this hotel for a light away after seeing Wicked, at the Ed Mervish Theatre. As soon as I walked into the room, I noticed how small it was, but very clean, and I could tell it has recently been redone. The decor was great. I loved that were were walking distance to the Eatons... More

This hotel is rater small but has a lot of features. The hotel has been recently renovated and it is evident. The lobby area looks new. The staff at this hotel was very friendly and professional. Room was on the 4th floor, the room itself was clean, big enough for two, renovated, bed was comfy and the room had everything... More

This is a renovated, older hotel, in a so-so part of downtown Toronto. Unlike other reviewers I never felt nervous walking in the area, but my stay was during the week so I don't know if that makes any difference. I will preface my remarks about the hotel by saying the staff were friendly, efficient, and accomodating. Now, the hotel... More
