My girlfriend and I stayed in Mrs. Lee's for the 1st two weeks of our transition from Ireland to Toronto, whilst we looked for our own place. We were staying on the 3rd floor, which we had chosen from her website and were expecting that there would be two bedrooms and a shared living area & kitchen, but when we... More

It was dreadful! The pictures may look nice on the site but the reality is another matter. This is not a quaint B & B, this is a rooming house in a state of disrepair. Doors do not close properly or lock, the electrical system is exposed and inadequate, no screens in the windows, etc.

We landed later than planned and were still greeted warmly at midnight after a very long flight. The baby cot was set up and there was enough room for all 5 of us. Both the owner and her son were always on hand with good advice and directions. We were even able to use her library card to get stuff... More

Great place - so full of character & charm. Mrs Lee was fab. Full of information & making sure that I made the most of my trip. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful stay on the third floor of this home. Mrs. Lee was a gracious host and provided us with everything we needed. We stayed as a family on the third floor of the house and pretty much had it to ourselves. Great resturants and subway within walking. Definately recommend anyone to stay here!

We enjoyed our stay in Toronto at Ashleigh Heritage home. The neighbourhood is really interesting (2 blocks from little italy and all it's nice cafés, restaurants and boutique) and quiet. The location of Ashleigh's is perfect to walk downtown, use the public transport, etc. We had all what we needed and it was easy with our little one (19 months).... More

I had a room with a shabby... More

The place was smelly and unclean and we would not even stay the first night. We couldn't get our deposit back and the owner was very unpleasant.

The first impression the the house was a bit scary. It was very unkept from the outside. The inside was even more of a dissapointment. The bedroom smelled of urine and it was very musty smelling. There were no screens on the windows so you couldn't open them. Chris and Gwen were very nice people, but, it is way too... More
