I have stayed here many times during my child's admissions to Toronto's Hospital for sick children over a 14 year period. These are dorm rooms, not a regular hotel as some seem to believe. The photo shown is NOT from this place, so don't get fooled. The college hotel is meant for students and it accommodates parents of sick children... More

Maybe it is not a very luxurious place, but i think it is the ideal option when travelling abroad as a student, because it gives plenty of opportunities to meet people from other countries. Rooms are medium size. The only problem is that the kitchen is not fully equiped, and the bathrooms are too basic...

Travelling from Australia my experience was this. The staff there are smug and apathetic, no smile, no please, no thank you, here's your key and here's the rules. The rooms are very very old and rusty. You have to use shared bathroom and toilet. There is no cafe downstairs. The receptionists are not well trained and may show signs of ignorance. I booked with them last year and they took a $600 deposit (1 month stay) from me without sending me any receipt.
