Good from afar but far from good The headline sums up the Germain Hotel. After spending several years living in Toronto only moments away at the Soho Met I often walked past the Germain and occasionally ventured inside to their warm cosy lobby for a coffee. Always gave me the feeling it would be a great hotel to stay in... More

A bit lousy at the reception desk - women's biased? Otherwise in the midst of town, breakfast sub-standard, overall spacious and quiet rooms. convenient for cn tower and waterfront restaurants, good for hop-on hop- off bus

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at this hotel. Rooms, staff, food, common areas, neighborhood, all superb! A great location only yards from TIFF. I forgot something in my room today and called from the airport. Savine in housekeeping tracked it down and is putting it in the mail. I will stay there again, I hope. Don Altman MD Irvine,... More

We spent a Thursday through Sunday here three weeks ago. I picked this hotel mainly based on location and some of the reviews I'd read. I was not exactly prepared for the noise situation but we always travel with a sound machine so we were okay. However, despite our sound machine, I was awakened Friday night around 2am from club... Spent the weekend here celebrating our 20th anniversary. As we don't get away very often I wanted a nice hotel at a good location. I did my research on Trip Advisor and as usual I had a win. We walked all weekend to our destinations, 15 minutes to the hockey hall of fame, 7 minutes to the Cn Tower, and... More

We stayed here for 5 days over the course of Fan Expo. Convenient to the MTCC. Room was stellar- decorated well, comfortable. Amazing service- from the front desk, concierge, valet, to housekeeping- everyone made it their mission to ensure my husband and I wanted for nothing! The large carafes of water on each floor were such a nice touch- no... More

We stayed there , at the start of a longer trip in Canada, we enyoied the service and the high quality of the room and also the breafast was lovely. We go back to Le Germain at the end of our trip through the French part of Canada. We highly recommend this hotel to those who visit Toronto.

I spent 2 weeks in this hotel and i had a very lovely experience. Great beds, big rooms, nice view. Nice breakfast included in the room price.. and a great coffee machine in the lobby for a "anytime" cup!! Nice location, walking distance to Rogers Center and Eaton Centre If you need to make a choice consider it, and if... More

We stayed here for a weekend away from home. The hotel is ultra modern and designed beautifully, from the lobby to the room, everything is aesthetically pleasing! The room had a super comfy king sized bed, a fully stocked mini bar, high ceilings and wood furnishing throughout. The bathroom wall was made of glass with the options to close the... More

Spontaneous trip to Toronto with hubby and a hotwire buy, bought us a night at Hotel Le Germain. We were very happy with it. 5 star happy! It's a euro hotel with beautiful, clean rooms. No old mouldy bathrooms or showers here! Great stay :)) Had a comfy kingsize bed with duvets. And ladies, you don't need to bring your... More
