This is a great little hotel with a very convenient location for both exploring town and the business district. Adelaide Street is between the lifelines, Queen and King Street (W) and the hotel is also close to Spadina Avenue with Kensington Market and Chinatown. My room (3.2) had a great view of the street with a huge corner window. The... More

Balderk, Thanks for the review. We are often told that our location is ideal - this is very true! We are in a great spot and the area is getting even better (if thats even possible) with all the new restaurants, bars and shops opening up in the district, including our own restaurant, Parcae! I am surprised you didn't have... More

The room was extremely sparse, I would have loved to have a chair that was comfortable to sit on, but really had to sit on the bed to watch TV. Bed was very comfortable, mini-fridge was a bonus, and the staff was courteous and friendly. All I had to do was ask, and an iron and ironing board was promptly... More

I stayed in room 6.2 . I enjoyed this hotel, the front desk people were really nice and the girl Karla was really helpful in finding things to do while in town. I love the bathroom ,but the room could use better lighting . My view was amazing ! The hotel is only a few blocks from the train station... More

Small modern boutique hotel which is centrally located in Toronto's business district. Restaurants and shopping possibilities are all in walking distance. It is a nice starting point for a small city tour by foot. The rooms are clean and sleek and feature amazing top to bottom which go till around the corner of the room. The bathroom is small but... Even though I've got friends in Toronto, none of them live downtown and I wanted to explore the heart of the city - so I booked this place at the last minute. It was very reasonable. (Mid December) I wasn't disappointed. It's really modern and funky. The bathtub has to be seen to believed! It was more like a pool... More

Stayed just one night on a quick trip to TO. Staff were down to earth and very helpful. Rooms are minimalist, clean, and relatively functional (especially for the price). However, the bathtub definitely stands out. It's around nine feet long, and holds an unholy amount of water - if you decide to fill it up. I told my wife that... More

I recently stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed my room. The bath/shower area was extraordinary. The bed was quite comfortable--very low to the floor. I provided feedback to management and they were genuinely excited to get feedback. If you are looking for a non-chain experience, this is a great choice for a different experience.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
