I believe that hotels are one area where you get what you pay for and this B&B is no exception. The good thing is that it is located near a subway station, so going to/from downtown was a snap. I regularly visit Toronto for business, and am quite pleased to have found Castlegate Inn. I have stayed here on numerous occasions this past year, and the inn completely suits my needs. I generally only require a clean and quiet place to rest my head between meetings, and prefer not to spend a ton of money for such a place.... more

Pros: great location, price, service and coffee. Cons: Couldn't get tv to work; bathroom, towels and furniture were in rough shape (but clean). A little TLC would add a lot of charm. Worth staying at if you're not spending a lot of time in your room. more
