Picked for location, close to Pan Am Games venue. Hotel is on outskirts of Toronto - drive to centre (Union Station) took us about 45 mins on a Friday evening. Hotel was basic but included wifi, parking and breakfast. The fitness room is small, but there wasn't anyone else using it at the time. Pool area is a decent size... More

The location, amenities and appearance of this hotel were high quality. We would stay here again. We selected this hotel for the value and amenities (free parking, free breakfast and free Internet.) The only problems we experienced were with the hotel staff being dismissive when we reported a problem or asked for service (and that was exclusively the night staff.)

Took my daughter for a mom/daughter weekend, stayed here and got a great deal with passes to the Toronto Zoo. I found our room great...clean, had everything we needed and more (didn't realize there was a fridge and microwave in there at the time of booking). The breakfast was fantastic, we were down quite early, so it wasn't busy at... More

We stayed here for one night with our kids. While a crib was provided, it had tape holding it together!! The breakfast was short on food, and some of the food was so sleazy it was inedible (e.g., slimy sausage patties). There was not enough room in the breakfast room for everyone to sit; people were eating standing up. Everything... More

Stayed here two nights last week. Excellent hotel with great staff and accommodations. The pool and hot tub are great. The continental breakfast was very good. Great location near the 491 highway but no traffic noise. Lots of restaurants near the hotel. Would highly recommend staying here. We went to Toronto zoo which was close to this hotel.

Nice clean hotel very close to Toronto zoo. Friendly and helpful staff. About an hour fifteen minutes from downtown Toronto. Five minute bus ride to Scarborough Town a Center shopping mall and Subway station. Worth the extra travel time to avoid being stuck in traffic! Subway is a great way to travel. The only part that was below average and... More

This hotel was good for the discounted price. The pool was smaller than it appeared and not sure how often they clean it but it was ok. The Kids enjoyed it. I woud stay again. The beds were VERY FIRM.

Great valiue, with ample rooms, easy-off, easy-on location, access to restaurants, fine staff, pool, ample breakfast, and constant availability of comp coffee. From the hotel, it is a reasonable drive downtown, or to subway parking. Also easy access to family attractions, such as Toronto zoo.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighborhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
