Stayed two nights here. While the room was fairly clean and noise level was acceptable, the hotel was outdated and dingey. The breakfast area had uncomfortable banquet chairs and tables directly opposite the desk in a totally open area. We did not partake of the food. This was well below the quality I would expect in a nice neighborhood north... More

Should have just paid the price for a higher end hotel, in the end the savings was not worth it. The cleaning staff were some of the rudest people I've ever met, they were literally pushing guests out of the way in line for breakfast so they could grab their bananas and watery eggs. Upon leaving the hotel the cleaning... More

The accommodations were clean, comfortable and the staff most helpful. The breakfast was fine. However the water pressure in the bathroom sink faucet seemed quite weak as opposed to that of the bathtub faucet which was excellent. The mattress on one of the beds had a visible, soft, indented area - the internal support had collapsed. It should really be... More

Good friendly service, breakfast was a let down, bathroom had hair in the bathtub and on the toilet, some parts if the room we're updated other parts we're still old and an eyesore.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighborhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
