Katya and her delightful place are a treasure. I would stay there again and the price is so affordable. Next time I want to bring my family and stay in one of the top floor sunny suites. Delicious breakfasts with interesting guests and Katya was so helpful in several areas. I was looking for an affordable place in Toronto to... more

This is an excellent choice for people who don't mind staying a little bit out of town so long as their accommodation has loads of character. The transport info you need to know is that the Queen Street tram takes about 20 minutes from the Osgoode subway station through slow-moving traffic. As for accommodation info, I think anyone would be... more

Beaconsfield B&B, a picturesque old mansard house surrounded by trees and other quaint houses, is full of beautiful antiques and whimsical decor. It is situated in Beaconsfield Avenue, just off Queen Street West, a crazy multi-cultural district where there is always something happening. The photo shows an elegant and tastefully decorated establishment ... BUT ... it is much more than... more

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Beaconsfield B&B. We stayed there 4 of the 5 nights of our Toronto holiday (the 5th night was sold-out, so we had to roll our suitcases one block to grab the reservation we had made for the last night at the nearby Drake Hotel.) Katya, our innkeeper, is an excellent host:... more

Amazingly relaxing and rejuvenating visit for myself and my two sons. The Beaconsfield Bed and Breakfast is a most unique experience. The host, Katya, is a terrific person who sees to her visitors' needs for a place to stay. Then there is the unique and wonderful art painted on the walls, such as open sky and pastoral views, along with... more

I loved staying here. Katya is amazingly helpful. The beds are great. I have a bad back and Katya put me in the best bed I have ever slept in. My only regret is I got up each morning very early and had to be out, so couldn't partake of her legendary breakfasts, but she left cereal, fruit, etc. for... more

Beaconsfield B&B is my favorite destination. I've stayed there 17 times. The food, the ambiance, the neighborhood, Katya's hospitality--all contribute toward making Beaconsfield the best B&B experience I've had in my travels throughout Canada and the U.S. I continue to schedule an annual trip to Toronto and I'm looking forward to my 18th visit to Beaconsfield in May 2006. more

We searched high & low for the best deal in downtown Toronto! Booking Beaconsfield B&B, we feared that it might not meet the expectation of what we have come to expect having travelled all over the world and stayed in many fine establishments. I'm happy to report that our fears were unfounded! Staying at Beaconsville B&B not only met our... more

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at the Beaconsfield. Katya was always available to make recommendations and give directions. My husband, two teenage children, and I shared a charming 2-bedroom suite with a sitting area and terrace. Thanks to Katya's artist husband, we slept beneath beautiful blue cloudy skies looked out of faux windows onto fields and trees. Every room... more
