My Husband and I booked a night at 1871 Historic House Bed and Breakfast. They had advertised that it was an old house that had been restored and decorated with antiques. Having stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts we expected it would reflect what was advertised. To our surprise it was quite the contrary. The outside of the house looked like it needed repair. The paint on the trim was pealing and there was no sign indicating it was a Bed and Breakfast. The girl who met us at the door was not particularly warm or inviting. We had chosen to stay in a Bed and Breakfast because they tend to be more romantic in their decorating. Our room was on the lower level of the house. When we decended the stairs the ceiling was so low that my husband hit his head. The hall leading to the room had other odd pieces of furniture and a cot in it just sitting out.
