We Wanted something other than just a hotel, so we found this Boatel an thought oh thats Different. We had tickets to a concert and the boat is conveniently located, a quick 20 min walk. Captain Ted and Diane are wonderful and welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the 1st minute we arrived and were incredibly helpful in planning things to do around Toronto. Diane is a fantastic hostess and breakfasts were delicious. The Boatel is wonderful and we look forward to a return stay!

Great location with breathtaking view to the tower, Great service, Great Breakfast, Great concept – all in all a great experience. Thanks Diane for a wonderful stay. We can recommend a tour in the kayak. Note that the space in the cabins is moderate - so think about this when packing (but there is space for luggage on the boat).

This was our second visit to the Boatel. Diane and Ted are the most gracious and fun hosts. We felt like we were among family without the drama haha! Beautiful accommodations , delicious mouth watering breakfasts and relaxing atmosphere . I could go on and on. Hardest part is leaving .

We are in 100% agreement with all the great reviews the Boatel has received. From the ease of leaving our vehicle in a secure, underground parking ( which at $12.00 / day was a lot less than other hotel parking downtown) to our great accommodations and wonderful hosts, Ted and Diane, we couldn't have made a better choice for our... A journey at Boatel is a really pleasing experience. We can feel how it is to have a boat as a house. The captain and his wife are very gentle. Diane is bilingual, which is usefull for french people. The breakfast (included) are delicious. The Boatel is ready attractions (harbor front, CN Tower, Blue Jays stadium, Aquarium, etc.). The master... More

a little golden nugget in the river called Toronto! even though in the heart of downtown, still felt like we were a world away as soon as we stepped on board. a great way to go to Toronto to experience the craziness of it, but so nice to be able to escape it when it came time to unwind! definitely... Don't get me wrong...I love Toronto...but I wouldn't want to live there and the Boatel allowed us to visit without feeling like we lived there. Close to everything but providing a sense of being away from the city when you need a break the Boatel puts to shame all the other places I've stayed in TO. In addition to this,... More

WARNING! WARNING! This B&B will cause you to miss many of the sights in Toronto because you will never want to leave the boat! Just sitting on deck along the lakeside biking, running, walking trail watching people all day was incredible. Watching all the boats in the Marina come in and out! Sitting next to a three different tall ships.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Enjoy your stay at the most unique Bed and Breakfast in Toronto aboard a 65 foot motor yacht moored in the heart of downtown Toronto. Guests are gently rocked to sleep and wake-up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and a gourmet breakfast surrounded by a post card view of the city and Toronto harbour. Leave the car and walk everywhere, shopping, catch a baseball game with Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre, CN Tower, and restaurants galore... all within a short walk or street car access away. Close to the theatre district with many choices of live theatre and musicals to choose from. Take time to enjoy a hop-on-hop-off tour of the city or rent bike to tour the waterfront. Book the whole boat and ask us about having dinner on our skylounge. Take in one of the charters in the harbour for a romantic evening cruise before returning to your own private yacht. Come back to the boat to enjoy the spectacular view from the aft deck and experience life on the water. Warning: marine life is addictive; your first visit won’t be your last. ... more   less
