This is by far the sketchiest business I have ever dealt with! They charged my credit card the full amount for the room I booked weeks before I was set to check in. The policy I was sent clearly stated that you pay when you arrive. I called to ask for an explanation and the staff were extremely rude to... More

We arrived around 930PM and the exterior was scary and hard to find. There were people lounging around the sidewalk and the wrought iron grill entrance protecting the entry to the Kaisar did not add to the atmosphere. Two other groups arrived immediately and we were all checked in together. It was confusing as we were to remove shoes at the... More

A very last minute booking but it was a good stay! The front entrance seemed a little sketchy but it was nice on the inside. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was pretty large but remember it's not a 5-star hotel. Good location in the city! We walked to the Rogers Centre (about 1.5 miles) but it... More

first problem... I payed for 3 day of parking... on the third day after moving my car, the designated spot was gone. 2nd problem, the only heating in the room was a heated rug. 3rd problem, not good value! 4th problem... not clean bedding. I regret staying there, i should have payed extra and stayed somewhere else! STAY AWAY!!

We stayed there in a double room with shared bathroom this summer, the staff were really friendly. Decent room with reasonable price. Everything was clean, but a little old. The only downside was that the room was really hot, and we were afraid to open the window because of mosquitos. Otherwise this location is great!

I booked a single room , and it came with a queen bed . The washroom is a little small , but it's clean . Free wifi, and kind hosts . Nothing fancy , but nothing not to like either . The location is fantastic !

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
