Amazing experience. Service was impeccable and I hope to stay there again in the future. The pool was perfect t and the salon was also 5 star with an amazing stylist (Fabio). It was pricy to stay there however it was worth every penny!

I only wanted to rent a room, not buy it! The prices are ridiculous if you are just looking for a place to sleep. But, if you are doing celebrating something special, this hotel is just what you want. They don't nickel and dime you to death, and the service from the staff is wonderful. They also allow pets and... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Trump on a recent theatre visit to the city. Our normal go to hotel is the Royal York, however it was fully booked. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. We felt welcomed and valued. Although a tad pricey, it is worth the money hands down. It was the most relaxing stay I have... More

Excellent luxury hotel in the heart of the Financial District. Close to city Event Venues, great restaurants (lunch at the Gabardine), and some shopping. We stayed there on a family visit to the Pan-Am games, and were very impressed with the staff, our suite, and the hotel amenities. The in-room dining menu was a bit disappointing, but did not blemish... More

Great hotel, friendly staff, spacious room, well located. The only downside is perhaps the valet parking at 50 dollars. Right next to the hotel is a public parking that only charges 25 dollars a day. Anyhow, we liked the hotel a lot and will probably stay there again on a return to Toronto.

Was treated to a night here by my husband for my birthday who booked using a corporate rate through his company. Check in was smooth and efficient. We were met in our room by a tray of chocolate dipped strawberries and a personal welcome note from the hotel manager. Lovely touch! To put it simply, this is a boutique hotel... More

Once you move into a 4 or 5 star hotel, you expect to pay extra for every little amenity. This 5 star hotel pleasantly includes a few small perks. Free Evian water from the concierge in the lobby, free Evian water in your room. Free WiFi, free Espresso (machine in your room). Since this is downtown Toronto, parking is expensive... More

Recently stayed at the Trump Tower Toronto and I must admit it was perfect! Unfortunately our stay was just for one night as I could have stayed there for days. The staff are friendly and welcoming and make you feel like you are coming home from being away. We were also traveling with our dog (which I had advised the... More

Spent 3 nights in a 1 BR suite as a couple and our teenage daughter. The staff is well trained and attentive, to the point of clausterphobic at times with all the people that know your business. The lap pool is good with lots of natural sun, but on weekends the children in the hotel make swimming a challenge. Shay... More

My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely hotel and couldn't fault it. The accommodation, food, staff and location were excellent. HOWEVER I have never had such a disappointing visit to a spa anywhere else in the world. I had made a booking for a facial and also for a massage and was greeted very politely and efficiently by... Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
