If you're looking to stay in the financial district downtown, this should definitely be considered. The rooms are on par with any other type of luxury place, but I thought that they did a very good job with customer service. They let me check out late at 2pm and even tried to push later except someone was going to be... More

This hotel was unreal from the beginning ! Once we arrived Valet took our vehicle and parked it and had all our bags brought to us. The room was gorgeous ! All electric lights, electric curtains . Beautiful room, so gorgeously decorated ! The bathroom was beautiful, had a separate "room" in the bathroom just for the toilet. Not to... More

Absolutely the best service I've ever experienced in my lifetime at any hotel. The two gentlemen (Johnathon and Kevin) at the front desk were exceptional. Warm, professional and efficient. The Concierge was also exceptionally. The suite was beautiful, the pillow menu ensured a great night's rest (I'd recommend the aromatherapy heal pillow) and the heated bathroom floors were a comforting... More

Rubi at the 9 th floor helped me put my cheesecake in the fridge. I bought it early in the morning to fly with me when the conference finishes. Johnathan at front desk very helpful, was asked a lot of question and he so patience to assist us.

Hotel staff need to be pushed to understand what REAL customer service is i.e. when issues arise, double-check staff know exactly what you want otherwise a unwarranted bill may fall on your doorstep. Also avoid being placed in a room next to the elevators e.g. 1113 as you can constantly hear the elevators going up & down.

January 24rth, my husband and I checked in for one night at the Trump to visit our son. Starting by the friendly door man, to all the staff we encountered is was a true class act. We were planning on taking our son to a local Thai restaurant, but needed a recommendation. The Concierge (wish I remembered his name) promptly... More

Exceptional service and our room was amazing - we will definitely be returning. Our first time in Toronto and we couldn't ask for a better experience. Check out the cook and learn with Canadian Top Chef Carl Heinrich @ his amazing restaurant Richmond Station.

I cannot believe that a so-called five star hotel would have a room arrangement like ours. My wife and I stayed on a Friday night in January - the place was deserted - and our room had one chair, no coffee table to place a drink, and a large desk and desk chair. Your man (Robert) at the desk put... More

I recently stayed at the Trump for five nights in their one bedroom suite and had a great experience. The room was large, clean and had great natural light. The bed was extremely comfortable and perfect size for my boyfriend who is 6'2. We did order room service which tasted great and came exactly at the time we requested it... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
