I've been there for 3 nights in August with my family and I enjoyed this hotel a lot. Very nice stay. Good service, good food, good location, next to the CN Tower. I advise you this establishment very much.

I arrange travel for executives who come to Toronto several times a month and we will never use this property again. I had made a reservation for one of our VIP's who requested this property from Sep 8-11th and when he had to change his dates to Sep 15-18th they advised we would be charged a 500 dollar (one night)... This is definitely the best hotel experience I've ever had. Great rooms, staff, and breakfast. Parking is an additional cost fyi. I will definitely stay again. Unfortunately, they're already sold out for nba all star weekend.

I have little doubt that the other, positive reviews of this hotel were well-deserved. The location is great, the staff was friendly on check-in, and the room is solid. But there are two issues, one fairly minor, and one extremely major. The fairly minor issue is that at least some of the suites are set up such that there is... More

I just stayed here for the first time and was truly amazed with the simplistic yet useful design of the rooms. I actually had two rooms, one for my mother and a suite for myself and they were just spectacular. The staff, especially Susan, was so accommodating. It was almost like we didn't have to lift a finger. I will... More

Staff were welcoming and attentive. Room was super clean and had a stylish, minimal design with clever features, like hidden ironing board next to the tv and drop down nightstands. One minor thing, the free continental breakfast was disorganized - plates on one side of the room, cutlery on the other, food in different areas, so I'm sure I missed... More

From the moment I make the call to book our stay until the valet driver delivers our car with a complimentary bottle of water at the end of our stay every person with Le Germain make my wife and I feel like we are the only people staying in the hotel. Jeffrey our concierge is absolutely fantastic. We could not... More

If you want to experience Toronto, splurge on a hotel that's right in the heart of downtown, so you don't have to "commute" into the city when you want to visit the attractions. Hotel Le Germain is right in the heart of downtown Toronto, a stone's throw from the Air Canada Centre, and a few minutes' walk to the CN... More

This hotel is very conveniently located at just 5 minutes walk from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and right next to the station and the Air Canada Centre. Rooms are very modern, spacious and clean. We had a room on the 8th floor which was very quite even though we overlooked a busy road. The free water and apples on... More

This hotel is in perfect location. We don't have a car so we just used the subway or trains to get around. I originally booked a signature suite considering all the good reviews I read about it but I ended up downgrading on a classic suite. It has all the modern amenities a signature room has but less the bath... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
